House vacation rentals in Vancouver Island

We loved staying at such a beautiful peaceful house, gorgeous ocean views! The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The house had plenty of room for our family group consisting of my husband and I with our two young kids, two grandparents and my brother in law and his wife and two kids.

Matt and Lina’s place was truly an oasis. The seven of us were so comfortable and enjoyed the pool/ hot tub and sauna time. Matt and Lina were fantastic to communicate with. We would highly recommend staying here if you love the peacefulness and privacy of the forest with ALL the amenities.

As our first Airbnb experience, it set the bar for future experiences. It was exactly what it was described as in the listing. It was immaculately clean. Our group of 4 were very satisfied. And we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Parksville.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Bowen's place was very beautiful, though slightly dated. We highly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen had basic amenities including coffee, coffee supplies, wine glasses, etc, so we were happy. Bowen was very responsive when we needed anything, and we appreciated his quick communication. There's a shopping center within walking distance, and lots of beautiful trails near the house that were fun to explore. The bedrooms were a bit bright for our liking, and the mattresses a tad hard for our stiff backs but overall it was wonderful and we would stay there again.

Awesome place to stay for a weekend in Whistler! Walkable to the village and close to a grocery store. Place was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub on the balcony is a nice touch :)

Great little get away. Pool was awesome, hot tub was great. Great fenced front yard for the dogs. Back yard was quite big to be able to play with the kids. Very clean and tones of room. Ryan was great to deal with. Will definitely rent again on our next trip down. Thank you

The place was peaceful and beautiful. The amenities were amazing the pool was heated so even when the sun went down it was still very comfortable. The outside patio area was super spacious and lots of activities you can do out there. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable it felt like a home not just another Airbnb. Could not have asked for a better stay! Andrew and April were very responsive when we had questions and was able to walk us through any questions we had quickly. 10/10 will stay again!

We had an amazing stay..it was a beautiful suite and so well equipped. the garden was very nice and overlooked it while eating..

Very clean and tidy, exactly as described. Responsive and helpful host, beautiful view, and enjoyed the various birds and deer. Highly recommend!!

We were fortunate to stay at Jess's place on short notice, when our camping plans changed. The cabin is modern and comfortable, nestled in a beautiful forest setting, complete with birdsong and visiting deer. The listing is quite clear that there is no wifi! We did have cell service and were able to get (slow) internet access on our phones. There is a steep trail nearby to the beach, which we had to ourselves. We would love to visit again. You want to go to the lakes this place has got it. You want to go to Pender Hill and walk from your place this place has got it. You want to have a fire and chat with good company this place has got it. You want a tastefully Renod place that your significant other is sure to love this place has got it. Awesome spot. We’re from the Island and booked this cabin as a quick getaway from the city, and it was exactly what we needed. Hannah was very responsive and friendly, the cabin was clean, fresh, and beautifully maintained, it felt like brand new. It had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful little touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The location was ideal, close enough to town for groceries, restaurants and cafes, but still tucked away in a peaceful, private setting with a beautiful ocean view.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of Lindsay's beachfront property. The location is truly unbeatable—nestled right on the coast, with breathtaking ocean views that can be enjoyed both inside and out. Inside, the property is just as impressive. It's thoughtfully decorated, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We will most definitely be back!

Wow, we really enjoyed our stay! The location is beautiful, and we loved the home (lots of room for our family to spread out). We also appreciated Brent’s recommendations for activities in the area. We would absolutely return for another visit!

Seascape is Awesome! The accommodations were clean and spacious with comfortable beds and living areas. The views were amazing and the outdoor areas packed with things to do and see. The hosts responded quickly and was very friendly and helpful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this excellent space.

We really enjoyed our stay at Zoe’s place in Mill Bay. Everything was clean and comfortable and we immediately felt at home. We really appreciated the fabulous deck where we sat at the end of each day sipping wine and recounting the day’s adventures. The directions were bang on and the home was easy to find. The driveway was large enough for our two vehicles which was nice. I’d highly recommend staying here if you are in the Mill Bay area.

What an amazing place. Twice as good as the photos. Beautiful house, very comfy. The garden leaves you speechless. Just sitting there watching the Bald Eagles is very special. The view is spectacular plus we saw Orca, sea lions, sea otter and a whale, all from the garden and we were only there 4 nights. Best place we have stayed.

This was the second time we’ve stayed at John’s place and it was just as amazing as the first time. John was very responsive and super friendly. His beautiful home is always so peaceful being right on the water. I would absolutely recommend staying here when you visit Alert Bay.

We enjoyed every moment in Fred’s house. The ocean view was truly amazing. Communication was easy with prompt and helpful responses from Fred and his team.

When you walk into this apartment you are greeted with the most stunning view. Just incredible! The apartment is modern but cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a restful, enjoyable break. My daughter slept on the comfortable sofa bed, and loved waking to the view. It is only a short drive to shops and restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Sarah.

the Namu cabin is a great place surrounded by a forest. With its big windows one feels like living in the trees. The interior is stylish, modern and comfortable. And it was perfect clean. We enjoyed our stay.
