The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. It is the “swallow's nest” – a small spot on the city map of Ravensburg that tells a special story.   We have preserved the former "laundry house" in which diapers were once washed for the children's home that was located there at the time, and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. Our 45 m² apartment Landluft on our farm Hermannslust, on the Swabian Alb is in an idyllic secluded location surrounded by forest and meadows and can accommodate up to 4 guests (possibly 1 additional child in a travel cot). Our apartment is the ideal place for rest and relaxation, but also for families and as a starting point for excursions. Dairy cows and their offspring, chickens, horses, cats, dogs, goats, sheep and rabbits live on our organic farm.

There are various restaurants (hotels, Thai snack bar, pizzeria, etc.) in the area and all within walking distance.
