Cabin vacation rentals in Upper Palatinate

Great cabin in the Bavarian Forest with great spa area to spend a relaxing weekend. The cabin has a well-equipped kitchen that invites you to cook and a nice patio with a barbecue. The spa area with sauna and hot tub is well cared for and an absolute highlight of the cabin both during the day and in the evening. We felt completely comfortable and would definitely recommend the place.

The wooden house is situated in a very beautiful environment. Ideal place for couples and families. Quiet, private, with all the amenities you need. The sauna and hot tub are the highlight! It's perfect for resting and relaxing. Landlord is communicative and nice. Responds quickly. We'll be happy to come back!😊

All wonderful as described. (Interior) architecturally very high quality designed, attention to detail (without being overloaded). Mini notes (it should be emphasized again: in total everything very good [!], for the sake of completeness in terms of value for money, but at least mentioned): The outdoor spa area is quite open from all sides (no problem for us, but some may be uncomfortable). The hot tub must be heated up with wood. Technically easy to implement, but depending on outside temperature and previous water temperature, it takes an extremely long time (>2h) without being able to reach the required water temperature (so you can also withstand at least half an hour without freezing); furthermore, the air pump of the bubble function is so loud that you can only talk very loudly... Sleeping area under Dachfirst -> certain physical mobility of the tenants required! :-) Thanks for hosting!!

We spent beautiful days. Everything went well. Lovely house, my granddaughter loved it.

Melanie welcomed us very nicely and answered all questions quickly and kindly. The place is perfect to switch off from the stresses of everyday life. We found it particularly nice that our dog was not just tolerated, but really a welcome guest. Our accommodation was located right in front of the playground, which meant that our daughter also had fun. We were particularly fond of the donkeys. We would come back any time if we were in the area.

Pleasant stay in a quiet location. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen is well equipped, but a little small. There were six of us, one of us had to sleep in a walk-through room to the bathroom. The outdoor area is very nice and invites you to relax and unwind.

This year it should be contemplative Christmas away from any stress and triviality. Andreas' cabin has fascinated us directly. This is located in the middle of a small log hut settlement on the edge of the forest. From the cabin you can use your car directly into nature without having to use your car. Despite the other neighboring cabins, you have undisturbed privacy and a fantastic view of the forests. Since we were there over Christmas, Andreas decorated the cabin for Christmas. A fir tree, Advent wreath and Christmas decorations as well as Christmas lights have created a great Christmas atmosphere. The cabin has absolute rustic mountain hut flair. A special highlight was the great outdoor sauna, which can be reached via the back exit. The snow, or the great wooden shower, ensures cooling. Andreas really left us with nothing. He is a really very nice host. We can absolutely recommend the house and will be back.

Melanie made us feel very welcome and at home with many personal touches. The proximity to the Jakobs Weg was ideal with wonderful hiking possibilities for us and our dog into the next town or the forest. The accomodation was also well suited and set up to be dog friendly, going above and beyond with service and excellence. Günther's cottage even exceeded our expectations. Everything is thought out and equipped with new equipment. If the mattress storage is also used in addition to the bedroom, several adults can easily stay here. The location is absolutely quiet and since the house is completely built of wood, it also has a great indoor climate. Shopping, two spas and several excursion destinations can be reached in a short time by car. Note: There was no wifi (as of May 2025), which was absolutely not disturbing for us. Günther is a great host who was always quickly accessible and always friendly. Overall an absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to spend relaxing and quiet days.

We stayed in the cabin during New Year's week. We had a lovely and quiet vacation. There was everything you needed and Rosa (the hostess) was also super easy to reach and immediately there if there was a problem. There were also a lot of games for kids. In snow, you have a huge meadow behind the house and four different sleds with which you can ride down the slope. It is also worth taking a walk through the forest, which is located at the end of the meadow. We will definitely come back 👍👍👍

Very nice host family, we had beautiful days here. It is remote and quiet, but we like it that way. The house still looks very new and therefore everything is in top condition, the furnishings are tasteful and finally no accommodation in which the old junk from Aunt Erna's house is simply stored. We really enjoyed it. Good indoor climate, everything made of wood, cozy and high feel-good factor. For me, however, the house was cold, as we had bad weather and cool temperatures, so I was grateful for the wood stove. The price is already hefty, but since we traveled as 4, it was fine. As a couple, we probably wouldn't be able to afford the accommodation. Thank you so much for everything and all the best to the hosts.

We felt completely comfortable with Nabila and her family. We were hosted very warmly. Since they were not home on the first day, Nabil's mother took over the check-in. The log cabin offers retreat and yet very nice interactions took place. Interesting conversations, our children also got along well. We also love the nature in Pommelsbrunn, which is very inviting for hiking. I'd love to come back anytime.
