Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Family-friendly cottage in the most beautiful hiking area! Our small Einödhof is located in the most beautiful valley of the Bavarian Forest, hidden on the mountain slope in the forest and only accessible via a forest path. Our visitors enjoy the tranquility and naturalness of the place and the coziness of their holiday home. In front of the log cabin there is a sheltered sitting area with sandpit and campfire area. A few meters away there is a small mountain pond. Bathing is allowed, but the water is ice cold.

The mountain hut was built using regional craftsmanship from local spruce trunks, in the Canadian log cabin style. The house is individually and lovingly furnished down to the last detail. Our own Starlink system provides you with high-speed internet. Bringing pets is possible by arrangement. Our family-run farm offers you and your beloved animals the opportunity to vacation together. Horses are accommodated in open places directly at the house. All other four-legged friends are also well taken care of. Right outside our door, the Jakosweg passes by. 500 m you are in the forest. Sandbox as well as the enclosure with donkeys make children's hearts beat faster. Of course, anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy nature is also very welcome.

You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with observation tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can follow a stream to the peaks. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.
