Amazing location if you love being in the heart of a city. Walk to get your coffee in the morning, your pastries, down to the water. Couldn’t get a better location for brunch, dinners and lunches out. So many amazing restaurants and cafes. DEFINITELY come so you can go to the San Diego farmers market on Saturday, it’s top tier. Her place is beautifully decorated, has the charm of the historic building but modern feel with decor. It’s floor to ceiling windows so if you need black out curtains, it won’t work for you but amazing if you love natural light. The kitchen isn’t as stocked with ingredients as some airbnbs are but this isn’t a must nor something a host needs to provide so hardly a detractor. While the parking is a walk, IT IS FREE!! and downtown free parking and amazing location are so hard to get! So the walk to the car isn’t bad. My husband would drop us off and go drop the car etc But honestly we walked mostly and didn’t our car for much.

Excellent location! Easily within walking distance to downtown and a grocery store. We had so much fun. Will definitely book again if given a chance.

Perfect spot for spending a couple nights in Galena. Right on the main drag and easy to get to everything. Part of the package was free coffee in the cafe right below the space. Jack was the perfect host and highly recommend.

The loft is beautiful and in a great location. The hosts are very responsive and helped with an the questions I had. I would definitely go back if we come back to Charleston.

An absolute gem of a place to stay. Do not hesitate to book. Beautifully designed. Wonderful wolf gas rage in a state full of electric stoves. A wonderful place to stay with friends, we didn’t want to leave. We will be back. Bigger than I expected from the photos. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome cabin vibe in the middle of the city! Perfect blend of what makes Minneapolis/Minnesota great. The space was clean and felt very secure; you have to go through three separate locked doors to get into the cabin.

Loved my stay I was fortunate enough to have stayed in both units which are upstairs n downstairs from one another me personally I like the 2nd floor better then the 3rd floor mainly because the restroom n where the TV is located but other then that they’re both beautiful lofts host is very responsive location was peaceful and clean and it shouldn’t be to far from anything you wanna do definitely would rebook

First and foremost, I would like to thank Jesus for letting me stay in his unit for the past few days. I traveled out of state to Miami for a concert and much more. I chose to stay at Jesus unit because it was located in downtown and near to arena of the concert. Also there are lots of local restaurants and bars that is walking distance. Be aware that there is no free parking at this location but Jesus does recommend nearby garages where you can park which was helpful. We decided to uber instead which I recommend. The unit itself was very well maintained and felt very comfortable. All the pictures you see on this listing is exactly how it is. The bed was quite comfortable, the bathroom was clean, everything was clean! The unit does also offer a small balcony area as well to view the city, looks good at night. The instructions to checking in are very clear and you will not run into any issues. Jesus was very helpful. I highly recommend his unit and will definitely be back in the future.

This was one of the best airbnbs that we have stayed in! It was such a cozy, clean space! We loved all the light coming through the windows and the extra lighting throughout the space! Other people mentioned the distance away from downtown, but, for us, it was perfect! Downtown was just a 10 min drive away, and we even walked to downtown from the Airbnb on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, which was beautiful, and took us only about an hour! We highly recommend their place, and the area is beautiful! If we are ever back in the area, we hope to stay here again!

Visiting family and the loft was super close to them. Everything was great and looks exactly like in the photos. We loved the loft!

5 stars – A Peaceful, Perfect Stay for Our Family We absolutely loved our stay at Peaceful Mill on the Water — it truly felt like a home away from home. The setting on the river is magical, and our three kids were in heaven: playing the piano, exploring the vintage typewriter, diving into video games, and even helping with laundry thanks to the convenient washer and dryer. We had family over for dinner one night, and the space was perfect for hosting — warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. The combination of comfort, charm, and thoughtful touches made this one of our favorite Airbnb experiences. We can’t wait to come back!

You have to find a place to park. There is no onsite parking. I parked in a parking garage a few blocks away. I was a bit worried about leaving my car overnight in an unattended parking garage.

5 Stars - Exceptional Stay! This studio apartment in downtown Sour Lake was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic—quiet, safe, and super convenient to everything in town. The space itself was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, and their communication was top-notch throughout the stay. They were also extremely accommodating, which made the experience even better. You can tell the host truly cares about providing a great stay, and that effort shows in every detail. I felt completely at ease and confident booking here. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Sour Lake—you won’t be disappointed!

I just completed a seven month stay in Dan's loft apartment. It was a great experience. The photos and descriptions were accurate. Dan was easy to communicate with and he was very responsive to any issues. He was unfailingly helpful. The apartment is on the third floor with a steep flight of stairs at the top, so anyone with physical challenges or cardio challenges should take that into consideration. I'm 69 and in fair shape, so I had no problems with the stairs. Overall, it was an excellent time and I would recommend it for a stay in Cynthiana.

Zen is the best host and probably one of best people you’ll ever meet on this planet. Asides having a great place, the extra effort he puts in to cater for guests further makes the experience amazing!
