Glamping on the Isle of Coll

ClareRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We spent 3 fantastic days at the cosy well thought out farm pod. It was idyllic. Wonderful that there was no WiFi & no tv. We really enjoyed watching & listening to farm animals & wildlife from within the pod & from its decking. It was great to not use our car for 2 days & instead to walk out from the pod through countryside to several beautiful sandy beaches. We enjoyed a refreshing swim in crystal clear sea at a beach that’s about 10mins walk from the pod. We also loved sitting on a small grassy hillock watching seals bathing on low lying rocks in a small cove only a short walk from the pod. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

Ty Mam Mawr Eco Retreat Centre

AlexRating, 5 stars50 months ago
I have been back to this location many times now to hold my 'Return To Nature' retreat with groups from London and other parts of the UK. The place never fails to deliver. Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn the land is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to in the UK. Aside from the setting, it is always an absolute pleasure to see and catch up with Shayne and Nathan who are becoming dear friends and have infused the place with LOVE which is immediately felt by anyone present. I'll be back again a few more times this year and cannot speak highly enough of the place for a reset and to reconnect to your souls authenticity. Experiences there have changed my life and the lives of many others who have come along. This is a huge statement but it's true. Until the next time!

Super Glamping Experience at The Owl House

TaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We've just got home from a lovely weekend at the Owl. We were there for a friend's wedding and wanted somewhere peaceful to chill out in between. Tracy was a lovely host, very friendly and helpful with local recommendations and always responsive. The only minor flaw was having a seperate bathroom which was in the main house and was shared with other guests. This was as described but was a bit more annoying than what we thought particularly when needing to use the loo in the night. I cannot fault the owl house itself, super cute and artsy. The bed was suuuuper comfortable and very romantic.

The Old Chapel

LucyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We've had a lovely time staying in this beautiful Old Chapel with our two small children. The open plan style worked well for us all and the boys slept in the family bedroom which can be easily shut off from noise in the rest of the house with the door shut..... Just as hazel had described. I would have loved to have a washing machine, but we managed with hand washing and we were prepared for this as it was also clear from Hazel.

Round house in secluded woodland.

KyleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place was exactly as it says on the tin, it is secluded, private and takes you right back to nature. It was a delight to have some friends around the fire pit catching up and having a good chin wag. When you wake up you are surrounded by the sounds of nature. The trail road to the accommodation is a little bumpy though.

The hobbit house - unique, quirky and cosy.

DanuRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a fabulous time at the hobbit house ! It is an incredible little place that is something straight out of a movie, the house is so intricately built and is a true work of art. Swinging in the hammock listening to the sounds of the stream was a true slice of paradise. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our ciders and croissants from Sue (especially the bee sting) We loved spending time here and chatting to Sue who is a remarkable woman. We so hope to come back one day 🌞🔮🪴

The Gatehouse unique cosy round cob retreat for 2

IanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
A great place to stay with a short drive to access nature reserve areas and other sight seeing amenities. Met one of Kevin’s sons who gave me a guided tour around the outside of the properties on site - really good explanation of how they built the buildings and some plans for the future. I was really impressed with the environmental credentials of the site. Will definitely come back for a visit.

Brakestone Cottage in the heart of Port Isaac

CharmaineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Port Isaac is beautiful location and Paul’s place is exactly as described, within a one minute walk of the main harbour. The home is an old cottage. It is three stories tall with a beautiful slate roof. The stairs in the home are very steep. Upstairs you’ll find one bedroom with a small double bed and on the second level two bedrooms with four single beds. We were very grateful to use Paul’s car park. It is about 15 to 20 minutes walk (up Hill )away, but this is very useful as parking in the village is difficult. Access to the house is tricky, however Paul supplies very detailed instructions and if you follow these instructions exactly, they will lead you right down into the harbour which is just a few seconds walk to the front door. I’d recommend this property to anyone who had a reasonable level of fitness, can climb steep stairs, and does not have very young children. You cannot beat the location and the village is one of the most beautiful in Cornwall!

Vineyard Hollow at Oastbrook Vineyard

CatherineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was a fantastic place to stay and the information provided about local restaurants and activities/attractions was greatly appreciated. There is a great place to eat, Castle Inn, within walking distance. Bodiam Castle was fun for the children to explore and had an extra trail for half term. There is the Kent and East Sussex railway from Bodiam station. There are good activities like wildlife spotting for the journey. America was a great host and welcomed us on arrival and went through all the recommendations. We would definitely return in the future.

Burnbrae Byre

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have just returned from a lovely week in Burnbrae Byre. Alison and Andrew were extremely friendly and very approachable. The cottage was in very pleasant and quiet surroundings with the only noise being from the birds and the occasional 'moo' from the cows in the adjacent fields. The cleanliness of the cottage was outstanding and everything needed was there. Our dogs loved running in the garden and enjoyed a paddle in the byre. We would definitely recommend the property and return if we are in the area again.

Whitewells Pod

We loved our stay in the pod. Sharon was a fantastic host, with great communication and met us when we arrived. The pod was lovely; it was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. The location is great with lovely views and is well placed for exploring the area. The very friendly goats, horses and returning cat were a particular highlight for our daughter. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

This is the most beautiful place I have stayed in to the point where I didn’t want to leave. I have been to many places worldwide but this for me would be my dream home. Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. High-end products used throughout. Lovely touches like bathrobes, slippers and dry robes. Was definitely luxury. Well appointed kitchen. We ate in as you would need to drive if you went out. We liked that though because we made good use of the facilities and hot tub. Would highly recommend.
