Vacation rentals with lake access in Umeå

We spent an entire week here with my girlfriend, another couple, and their 6-year-old, and we absolutely loved it. The house is spacious and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. Even though it was winter, the house stayed warm and cozy, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the fantastic features, including the piano, fireplace, and smart TV. There’s also a great selection of games to keep both kids and adults entertained, which we found really fun. Lars was an exceptional host—kind, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive. One evening, he even messaged us to let us know that the northern lights were visible, which was such a memorable experience. He was always responsive and super helpful. Thank you, Lars, for making our stay so wonderful!

Domek w Umeå, którego gospodarzami są Hanna i Mattias, to prawdziwa oaza spokoju. Już od pierwszego momentu czuliśmy się tu jak w domu – wnętrze było niezwykle przytulne i urządzone z dbałością o każdy detal. Wszystko było nieskazitelnie czyste, co dodatkowo podniosło komfort naszego pobytu. Okolica jest przepiękna i bardzo spokojna, idealna do odpoczynku i relaksu na łonie natury. Można tu naprawdę odetchnąć i cieszyć się ciszą. Hanna i Mattias to wspaniali gospodarze – zaangażowani, pomocni i serdeczni. Dbali o to, abyśmy czuli się jak najlepie. Zdecydowanie polecam ten domek każdemu, kto szuka wyjątkowego miejsca na pobyt w Umeå! 🌿✨

This is a unique house in a unique location. It's hard to describe, you have to experience it. There is a fantastic restaurant called Kajkanten at the local port (5 min. walk). The pasta dish was the best ever. The host Linéa is such a lovely person. Highly recommended.

Steven hat uns persönlich begrüßt und war sehr freundlich. Er hat uns unsere Unterkunft gezeigt und alles wichtige mitgegeben. Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier, aber sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft. Bei unserer Abreise gab es noch einen lohnenswerten Tipp für einen Ausflug von Steven. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Airbnb where you feel just like at home. We really enjoyed our stay. Location is very peaceful just by the lake. We even had 5 reindeers in backyard one morning. We appreciated that kitchen had the necessary utensils and cutlery. Children enjoyed playing outside. Peter was a great host and very responsive!

Een heerlijk huis op een mooie rustige plek. Comfortabel en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Beddengoed en handdoeken zelf meenemen of huren. Je kunt lekker buiten zitten en in het bos bij de rivier wandelen. Hond mocht mee. Vännäs is op 8km en leuk om naar toe te gaan. Ook voor de boodschappen. Kajsa is erg vriendelijk en haar ouders die in het huis er tegenover wonen ook.

Amazing place with a stunning view over the lake. The pictures do not really catch all the beauty of this location. Very friendly and welcoming host, greeting you upon arrival and available to resolve any issues during your stay. Short drive to Ö-vik and the national park. Spotlessly clean and very cozy house with all amenities you may need during your stay. I really enjoyed the stay at Lillemor’s house and will be happy to return again.

We had an amazing stay at Linnea’s beautiful home, which she cohosted with Oskar. Located on the peaceful outskirts of the charming town of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, the house is perfectly positioned near the seaside, offering serene views of the water through its large windows. The home itself is spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our children especially loved the wide-screen TV and the variety of toys, which made their time here extra enjoyable. Linnea was a warm and attentive host, making our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Erittäin kaunis ja viihtyisä ympäristö. Itselläni oli koirat (pienet) mukana ja niiden kanssa pääsi heti lenkkimaastoihin. Marcuseen sai hyvin yhteyden ja hän oli erittäin ystävällinen. Kaupat hiukan pidemmällä, mutta itselläni oli auto käytössä. Kulman takaa meni paikallis bussi, jolla pääsee kyllä kaupalle ja muutenkin liikkumaan. Pihapiirissä oli vieraspaikkoja ja niitä löytyi koko matkani ajan (1kk, toukokuu). Pysäköintilupa oli asunnossa sisällä. Voin kyllä lämpimästi suositella tätä kohdetta!

Logement vaste, confortable, très propre et bien équipé. Nous sommes restés qu'une nuit mais nous sommes ravis. Anki a toujours été réceptif et soucieux de nous faciliter notre séjour même court.

Wir hatten eine tolle Nacht bei Marianne und Niklas. Die Unterkunft war geräumig, sehr sauber und die Küche bot alles was sich der Gast wünscht. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir sicher abstellen. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen und wünschen Marianne und Niklas das allerbeste. Vielen herzlichen Dank

Host greeted us with a delicious plate of fish just caught and cooked by host. Thanks for our surprise and delicious supper Beautiful apartment with beds and bedding which were perfect. Great view of a cove of Baltic Sea. Well equipped kitchen. New apartment that was very very clean

Väldigt nöjd med hela upplevelsen. Boendet var rent, välutrustat och exakt som på bilderna. Sängarna var bekväma och det var tyst och lugnt i området, vilket gav riktigt god sömn.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hilma and her family were very helpful with everything. They made sure we have everything we need. Thank you for it. House has a very nice decoration and very nice view over the sea. We were 4 people staying and the area was more than enough. We definitely recommend this place!

My mother and I stayed at Ulrika's cottage for a few days & had a lovely time. Everything was as described and as shown in the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable as well. Our favorite spot was the glazed balcony where it was toasty and warm in the sun and we could watch the changing scenery on the lake. It is quite close to E4, however far enough away to be totally peaceful and quiet. Ulrika was very helpful with every aspect of our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful place to stay out in nature. Many thanks!

Very nice hosts and excellent communication. Lovely place with a beautiful view over the lake. Everything you need, including basics in the kitchen and bathroom (coffee, spices, shower gel etc.). Highly recommended.

Vi hade ett mysigt julfirande i stugan, utsikten var väldigt fin och det fanns bra möjligheter att promenera/springa i området.

Mukava rauhallinen sijainti maalaismaisemassa. Hyvät sängyt, sain hyvin nukuttua. Kiva, tunnelmallinen mummonmökkifiilis.

Andra gången vi besöker denna fina stuga. Har allt man kan önska både gällande värdskap och läge på stugan. Extra plus att man får låna båt och kan fiska.

The cottage offers plenty of privacy and is perfect for relaxing, though it can get a bit cold quite quickly. We especially loved being able to use the boat and sauna! Don’t forget to bring your own bed linen. And in case you’re wondering: there is a direct bus to Umeå.

En riktig pärla mitt i Höga kusten. Mysigt litet hus nära vattnet i skyddad vik. Inne finns allt man behöver och ute finns det uteplats mot trädgården för morgonkaffet i solen. Så nöjda. Rekommenderas!
