Hotel vacation rentals in Ulster County

Our stay at the Starlight Motel was even better than we expected. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The full kitchen and individual charcoal grills and picnic tables for each room were a huge bonus. Thanks to Michelle for a great stay!

I stayed at Breezy Hill for two nights because I was in town for a wedding. Michelle and her staff were very kind and helpful! They offered rides, showed me around the place and served wonderful breakfasts perfectly on time. I recommend it highly!

What a charming home. Cozy room, loved the electric fireplace..spacious private bathroom, super clean and great water pressure (I love a good shower)! Justine and David were super friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. We hope to stay again next October!

We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my brief stay at Twin Gables. It is in the heart of Woodstock, and everything in town is very walkable from this location. My room was spotless and exactly as described. I would love to stay again!

The Twin Gables is located right in the heart of Woodstock - it is the perfect place to stay when visiting. The room exceeded expectations. Not only was it very clean and the bed was very comfortable, but the entire house was decorated beautifully with fascinating art work. Our host was very friendly and hospitable, there was a full breakfast provided with coffee and orange juice each morning. There are parking spots available and easy access to street parking if needed. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Woodstock.

While the resort was outstanding when it comes to the spa treatments everything was very confusing from the treatments itself, to the staff to them not being organized at all. I’m not sure the treatment was performed by a professional certified masseuse. In fact it was a male for both my wife and I. We were never asked to sign a waiver or fill out any kind of paperwork unlike all other spas we’ve been to. I have been with terrible sciatica pain since Sunday July 7, almost a week now. I believe the male therapist worked my back in a way that he shouldn’t have and pinched a nerve. I am unable to walk, get in and out of car and have been seeing a chiropractor since Monday July 8.

This is a room at the Kartrite resort and waterpark, just listed on airbnb. When I checked in to the resort, I did not reference airbnb at all...I just gave my name and ID and credit card as you would any hotel. The price seemed similar to what you'd pay if directly booked with the resort. I booked this way bc I had a $100 coupon to airbnb. Maybe you'd have similar motivation. The room includes 4 water park passes. Hours for the park 11 am - 7 pm, so that seemed a bit early to close and a bit late in the morning. Check out of the room is 11 AM, so you have to bring bags out to your vehicle and use lockers and changing rooms for belongings. We had fun at the water park (adult + 2 boys age 11 and 9). None of this reflects on the "host" one way or another, since as stated this is just a means to stay at the resort.

On my way to the airbnb I was listening to a podcast on hospitality. These hosts are masters of the art. I didn’t get to meet Doris, but I could see her creative touch in the beauty and comfort of the house and my room. Her husband was the kindest soul. This is why I go to airbnb’s to hopefully get to overlap with other great humans. He was warm and hilarious. He effortlessly treats people like family and I will definitely be back so I can get the pleasure of meeting Doris. Lovely remote setting, yet so close to incredible coffee and great hikes. The airbnb was clean, and inviting, and the hospitality was next level.

We loved our stay with Doris. Totally charming bed and breakfast, so cool, fun, welcoming and relaxed. A wealth of knowledge about the area and superbly talented chef. Don’t miss out on signing up for her meals!

We only stay here because we were looking for a place to stay for a concert at Bethel. However had I known what it had to offer I definitely would've stayed longer. I am very interested in going back just to be there for a couple days

Catskill Rose is a wonderful gem for a place to stay AND their we enjoyed delicious food at their restaurant on our arrival evening. Peter is a GREAT HOST! He surprised us by putting orange juice, hard boiled eggs and scones in the mini frig plus a couple wonderful apples on the dining table. You have to drive everywhere, but in that area, that's what you do. His lodge/restaurant is right off the main road and it was easy to find. We were in the front of the lodge, so we heard road traffic, but again, to be expected given the area. Parking was very nice gravel/stone (not dirt, no potholes). This was a perfect find for attending a destination wedding where the church in Phoenicia was 5 min drive and the wedding venue (Foxfire Mountain in Mt Tremper) was 4 min drive. We had an incredible stay here. I highly recommend this resort to anybody looking for a relaxing getaway.

Very cute and private room. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great afterwards. I would book again if ever in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay here for a perfect fall weekend! The room was so cozy, and the location was a great jumping off point for hiking and restaurants. I absolutely loved the fire pit and s’mores too! The bodega breakfast sandwich on site was a nice convenience. The hosts were responsive and lovely people. I hope to come back someday!

A beautiful location where you can walk to bars and restaurants. I hope pine hill doesn't change. It is truly a gem of a town and this location is perfect for a weekend getaway.

It’s a newly renovated motel, very clean and check-in was remote and very easy. Comfortable stay for a weekend!
