The place consists of a fantastic property onto the fjord. Plenty of space inside and out: Five bedrooms, large terraces and green areas. Outdoor shower and sauna with fjord view. The place is an old small farm. The house is in the old style and completely renovated in recent times. Located in a very quiet area with great opportunities for hiking and fishing. Otertong outdoor area right next door. Between Stavanger and Bergen/Hardanger. 30 min to Haugesund, 1 h 50 min to Odda (Hardanger and Trolltunga). Rented out for the first time in 2026.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

Welcome to our waterfront cabin, where you can take the steps from the terrace straight down to your own private swimming area. Helgøy is part of the popular Sjernarøy archipelago in Ryfylke. It is easy to get there by free ferry or express boat from Stavanger. Beautiful and tranquil surroundings with great hiking opportunities on the archipelago. Sun from morning to evening. Spacious deck on two sides of the cabin. 2 SUP boards and a kayak. Bike rental and sauna at the local store. Accommodates a total of 7 people.

Relax with family/friends in idyllic surroundings With a view to one small pond, sheep in the fields and lovely birdsong, this is one place to find peace and quiet. Here there is plenty of space for play,bonfire and barbecue. There are good sun spots all around the cabin. 15-30 min by car for all atractions at Haugalandet. To avoid additional fees, we have chosen to include everything in the daily rate. In return, we ask guests to tidy up and do a simple clean-up before departure (see details under House Rules).

From here it is a 5 min walk to the fjord - where there is the possibility to fish. There is an undisturbed, large garden with fruit trees and ornamental shrubs and forest in rural surroundings. Lots of bird chirping and nature around. Good hiking opportunities on foot. The house has electricity and water. And associated tool house with possibility for storage and firewood available for heating.

Nedstrand. The cabin is located next to the path to Himakånå, and has great hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, which makes the place safe for children. The living room window has a great lake view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 3 beds: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with a length of 150 cm. Please be aware of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. A suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.

Charming cottage in "Sørland style". The cabin is small but has everything you need. And from experience, it is the great outdoor areas that are used the most. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy both morning coffee and sunset when the sun sets at 10 pm. The jetty has a dining area for 10.

The house is located in scenic and peaceful surroundings close to the fjord. It is an old but modernized timber house with a warm and good atmosphere. Here you can relax with a good book, take a fishing trip or a nice mountain hike on several of the peaks nearby, such as Himakånå or Hest. It is also possible to take day trips to e.g. Preikestolen or Langfoss.
