Great hiking opportunities right from the cabin. Short distance (10 min) to Haugesund, and to other places, such as beaches, mountains, shopping center, water park and cinema at Tysværtunet. Grandma's cabin

100-year-old cabin with small windows and beams in the ceiling. But there is also wireless internet, toilet and kitchen from the 21st century. Great view of the fjord. Large garden, 1.5 acres. Lawn for football, badminton etc. 800 meters to walk to well-maintained, public beach (Aksnesstranda). Alternatively, one can drive there. The garden has herbs, flowers, berries and fruits. The bathroom is small. It has a toilet, sink and a primitive hand shower. New wood stove 2025. Rural, but only 16 mins. to drive to the city's restaurants and attractions.

Idyllic place in Hetland

Relax with family/friends in idyllic surroundings With a view to one small pond, sheep in the fields and lovely birdsong, this is one place to find peace and quiet. Here there is plenty of space for play,bonfire and barbecue. There are good sun spots all around the cabin. 15-30 min by car for all atractions at Haugalandet. To avoid additional fees, we have chosen to include everything in the daily rate. In return, we ask guests to tidy up and do a simple clean-up before departure (see details under House Rules).

Nedstrand. The cabin is located next to the path to Himakånå, and has great hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, which makes the place safe for children. The living room window has a great lake view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 3 beds: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with a length of 150 cm. Please be aware of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. A suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.

Lovely cottage right by the lake in tranquil surroundings. Here you can relax and enjoy the days with lake views and nature outside the doors. Go to the lake to take a swim, jump from the jetty, go for a walk in the woods, pick berries, or relax on the large terrace. On stormy days you can light the fireplace and enjoy watching the lake. There is a fire pit on the terrace and a barbecue available. Short distance to the popular trip to Himkånå, Nedstrand and the locks in Skjoldastrømmen.

A quiet area on a small farm in the Norwegian fjords, 3 minutes to walk down to the sea, a fjord that is known for sea eagles and fishing. The buildings are new, set up in old style and you will have two buildings, 'longhouse' and annex. The area is also a good starting point for trips in the mountains, fishing, High and Low climbing park, Avdalsnes Viking/history museum and more. The property is suitable for children and play. Idyllically located cabin at the waterfront in Grindefjorden. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the fjord. Private beach and jetty, with access to boat (summer fun). Charming cottage in "Sørland style". The cabin is small but has everything you need. And from experience, it is the great outdoor areas that are used the most. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy both morning coffee and sunset when the sun sets at 10 pm. The jetty has a dining area for 10.

Traditional Norwegian log cabin with wood-fired sauna. Situated on a vast private property — perfect for a serene digital detox. No traffic, no light pollution, limited reception. Hike forest trails, take in sweeping mountain views, and watch stars stretch to the horizon. The area is home to rich, biodiverse, unspoiled nature, with eagles soaring by day and owls howling at night. Unwind with a sauna-session, followed by a refreshing plunge in the lake.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.

Cabin in Nedstrand with a view of Hervikfjorden and Borgøy. The cabin has a living room with dining table, two bedrooms and an annex. Plenty of parking space. The cabin is located in a sunny location, approx. 45 minutes drive from Haugesund. It is walking distance down to the lake with its own jetty and boathouse. Boat with engine can be rented for an additional fee. Many opportunities for trips nearby.

The house is located in scenic and peaceful surroundings close to the fjord. It is an old but modernized timber house with a warm and good atmosphere. Here you can relax with a good book, take a fishing trip or a nice mountain hike on several of the peaks nearby, such as Himakånå or Hest. It is also possible to take day trips to e.g. Preikestolen or Langfoss.
