There are nice hiking areas in the community; local peaks like Horse and Himakånå are popular. It is possible to take a day trip to Preikestolen and Stavanger day trip. The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt" is located 15 min drive from the cabin. During the summer months (May to Sept) it is possible to rent a boat and kayaks. Animals are not allowed in the cabin. Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with opportunities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

Welcome to our retreat, a place to watch the world go past or a base to enjoy the neighbourhood. Located above a small charismatic beach among the woods and hills of Hinderåvåg. Selhammar is a location that is relatively isolated and accessible down a farm track that wanders about 1 km from the public road system. Explore a choice of forest, beaches and mountains just outside your doorstep. The homestead is slowly being restored from abandonment and basic organic principles are practised.

The apartment is about 70 m2, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room, storage room, entrance. Dishwasher, stove, fridge and freezer. Rented to orderly people, no smoking.

Idyllically located cabin at the shore of Grindefjorden. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the fjord. Private beach and jetty, with access to boat(summerfun) access. Charming "Southern style" cabin. The cabin is small but have what you need. And in terms of experience, it's the great outdoor areas that are used the most. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy both morning coffee and sunset when the sun sets at 22:00. Brygge has a dining group for 10.
