Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Twickenham

This house was perfect for our stay. It was a family home so had great amenities for me, my husband and our three children. The size meant we had rooms for everyone and the playroom was much appreciated. The local neighborhood was easily walkable and a short walk from beautiful Richmond and 20 minutes from Richmond Park. Excellent hosts, great communication, would recommend for any family planning a trip to Richmond.

Tiffany was a fantastic host, responsive, courteous and went above and beyond on our checkout to accommodate so last minute itinerary changes. The home is beautiful, and I have stayed in many in this area. This is my favorite by far. Highly recommended, clean, modern, upgraded and fantastic location. We will be back Tiffany.

This house worked perfectly for our family. It has enough space to entertain little children. The secure garden with the lovely weather we had, was a bonus. Off road parking was a dream - one less thing to think about. The main bathroom door wouldn't close. But Natasha sent a handyman out and it was fixed within a couple of hours of reporting. Very responsive and helpful hosts. 👌

The flat was perfect for our stay being close to St Mary’s university which we wanted to visit and reminisce but also ideally located for a trip to Richmond and Twickenham. The flat was clean with a high spec kitchen and really well decorated bathrooms. Communication was excellent and I felt extremely at ease. Great hosts and we are very likely to return to the area and would definitely stay again.

This residence was something very special. The host has created one of the best quality residential experiences in Kingston. The layout of the apartment was brilliant. Everything was spotless. The shower and bathroom were well stocked with everything I needed. The kitchen was supplied with high grade cooking facilities & every utensil required for a very comfortable stay. A convenient location, 10 mins walk from the station. This was a clean, quiet and peaceful street with free parking and lots of pleasant parks nearby.

What a find! Staying here felt like we were in a quiet country village. The area is very peaceful, with no night time noise at all. Right by Marble Hill park and a stones throw to the river. The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need and helpful supply of basics like oil and seasoning, tea and coffee. The outside space was a great bonus. Freddie was an excellent host who helped with any questions promptly. Highlights were boating on the Thames at Richmond landings, a boat trip to Hampton Court Palace, hiring bikes to explore the river towpath, a short train ride into London to the museums (district line) and an evening swim at Hampton Lido.

What a gorgeous and comfortable home in a charming neighborhood! The house felt like such a perfect oasis, exquisitely decorated and with all the comforts of home—including for families with a young child. The back garden was magical, the kitchen was lovely, everything smelled great, the bathroom was spa-like, the beds were so comfortable, the kids’ toys were an awesome bonus and provided hours of entertainment…absolutely no complaints and I would definitely stay here again! Teddington is such a sweet little neighborhood/village with a charming high street and easy access to beautiful Bushy Park.

The luxury about this place is that there are very few airbnb's in the area. Needing to be near family, we had to book a location nearby and this place offered exactly what we needed. The location is clean, well thought-out. The local "wildlife" could be seen in the communal garden, mostly cats thinking they were tigers in the savannah as well as large well-fed squirrels. Special note towards the amenities - pleasant to find essential amenities "just in case". A Tesco express is right across the street as well. Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating (we were allowed to check out later as our plane was leaving very late).

Jeanette was a very friendly and proactive host, everything in the annex was just as it should be and the milk, bread, jam, butter were a lovely touch. Thanks Jeanette I will be back.

we had a great weekend stay in Sally's place with our 6 year old. the flat is lovely and felt like a home from home, and was really handy to have the supermarket underneath. it's walking distance from the tube into central London and really convenient for those driving in with a secure parking space. the flat has everything you need and is a really nice space. for those with little ones there is a nice play park 10 minutes walk away right on the river and a nice cafe directly opposite. it was perfect for those who want easy access to central London but also to come back to somewhere quieter. sally was responsive and gave us everything we needed. we would definitely stay here again.

Location perfect for my stay and property had everything I needed to be comfortable.

My wife, 17 year old daughter and I needed a place to stay for a few days while we were having repair work done on our place, and this place fit the bill perfectly. It was very much a case of being made to feel at home by Tatjana, who went out of her way to ensure we could treat her place as a home from home.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Outstanding accommodation on a quiet tree-lined street close to restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, and bus and train stops. Easy access to Richmond, Saint Margaret’s, and Church Street, with its many coffee, shops, pubs, and restaurants. The accommodation is immaculate. The kitchen offers everything you need to make meal prep easy.

This is the cutest little apartment! Highly recommend a stay here if you will be in the area. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Close enough to central London while being out of the hustle and bustle of it all. Cute cafes and restaurants right around the corner which gives you plenty of options and a grocery store a block away. Will definitely be staying here again!

Marina was very helpful and responsive, check in was very easy. Place was as described, bed was comfortable, shower was good - loved the geranium and lemon face wash! Perfect location to explore Twickenham.

We couldn't believe our luck in finding this place It was everything that we needed! Clean, comfortable, near to buses, trains, the tube yet hidden away in a quiet cul de sac, backing onto Sheen Common with a short leafy walk into Richmond Park. The host was very friendly and helpful to us, two lost Australian souls, in the big city.

Our second stay at Deborah's and even better than we remembered. There is everything you need and Deborah is very quick to respond to any questions. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the centre of Kingston and 2 minutes to the Thames and parking on the drive is a real bonus. The bathroom is well equipped and the large bedroom has a very comfortable bed. The sitting room has a comfy settee and dining table. The flat is airy because of all the opening windows and has shutters and ceiling fans to keep it cool. I can thoroughly recommend.

Lovely spacious flat that was perfect for our night in London. Christina sent really clear instructions for check in and was always helpful and super responsive with her messages. The room we stayed in was a great size, with plenty of space for our travel cot as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christina as a host!

My daughter and friend had a wonderful stay. They loved the beautiful artwork and furniture. It was fun, gorgeous, comfortable in every way. Super location. 5 🌟 and above would highly recommend.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable. In a gorgeous location. The spot was easily walkable to restaurants, two places of interests and to local transportation as well as grocery and other shopping. Peter was extremely helpful, readily available. He and his lovely spot were a delight.

I enjoyed Beth’s place. Convenient location to my daughter who lives in Twickenham, and to the train to get into London. Bus service very convenient also.

We had a great stay at Rachel’s place, using it as a base to visit my Dad in Walton on Thames. It was perfectly situated by the river, great for gentle river walk and close to lots of the action further up the Thames - Hampton Court, Bushy Park, Kingston etc. Also, it came fully equipped with lots of nice details - ideal for hosting the newborn baby we had with us!!
