La casa es muy grande, súper cómoda, limpia y muy bien equipada, tiene hasta mas de lo necesario, además muy segura, David es súper atento y pendiente de cualquier necesidad, nos brindo mucha colaboración en todo momento, pasamos unos días muy hermosos en familia, siempre en comunicación con Kimberly.

Celia was an amazing host, her house was equipped with comfy beds, and everything needed to cook at home: bring briquettes for the grill, other than that it was everything and more for our group of 4, (2 couples)

Everything was fine, view was beautiful, Jorge was really helpful, no complaints, we will go back again 🙏🏻

El dueño de la casa coordinó con el guía de la finca cafetalera para que nos hicieran un tour fuera del horario habitual, ya que teníamos poco tiempo. Muchísimas gracias de nuevo. La casa está en perfectas condiciones, la vista es impresionante, el jacuzzi está increíble. ¡Definitivamente tienen que visitar este lugar!

Très bonne prise en charge à l'aéroport par un chauffeur professionnel et sympathique. Il nous a emmené directement aux logements. Sur place Luis nous a donné toutes les indications nécessaires par rapport aux logements. Nous avons été satisfait de notre arrivée à San José.

I cannot say enough good things about Gustavo's home and how much good helpful information he gave me. He even compiled a book about the area and what to do. The apartment is phenomenal, all the live plants, the man has taste and style. it was just what i needed and would go back anytime he would let me

Un lugar maravilloso, sin duda uno de los mejores de la zona. El acceso es perfecto para todo tipo de vehículo, y la casa está muy bien equipada, con todo lo necesario para simplemente llegar y disfrutar. La mesa de billar está en excelentes condiciones, y el lugar en general superó mis expectativas. ¡Sin duda volvería a ir!

We were very satisfied, thank you very much. It is a very nice apartment with a view of the garden. Very good location. Great community. We harvested a bannana perennial for the first time.

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

Apartamento bien ubicado y con amenidades para conocer San Marcos de Tarrazú. Lo recomiendo.

Friendly hosts and remote, peaceful location. Very little human noise up on this mountaintop. Birds, night insects, frogs. I only heard one airplane. Saw a great curassow. The bungalow is on a horse farm and the area right around it is pretty open. Horse paths dip into the forest and you're allowed to walk these on your own. If you want to hike farther into the forest you can hire Chico (very nice man) to guide you into the river valley . Hike to the waterfall is a beautiful, slippery scramble to a lovely jungle oasis. Swimming at the base of the falls- glorious! Bungalow is rustic. If you like camping you will find it luxurious. If you don't, it may be too rustic for you. I loved it. Ferny outdoor bathroom is the nicest I've ever seen. Bungalow was musty when we got there but aired out nicely. Bed was very comfortable. Cold water only. Lighting is by candle - takes a little getting used to, but then so lovely. Hosts arranged transportation up and down mountain for me.

Fui con mi esposo y unos amigos! Nos pareció espectacular el lugar! Únicamente que el lugar requiere de algunos mantenimientos tanto en el exterior como en el interior. Tenerlo en cuenta si van. Pero por lo demás, excelente localización ya que está rodeado por naturaleza, es tranquilo y silencioso. Justo lo que buscaba

El apartamento de Mauricio es sumamente cómodo, espacioso, iluminado y fresco. Mi familia y yo pasamos unos días muy agradables. La atención y acompañamiento por parte de Mauricio hizo que todo fuera más fácil. Encantados volveríamos a hospedarnos.

Had a great time with my family. The kids loved the pool and my wife and I loved the house and the nature around us. I think they have a deal with the animals and insects where they come great you on your stay :) we saw a 3 sloths, many birds, and neat insects

La casa muy bonita, limpia, grande y cómoda. La propiedad muy bonita y la caminata por los senderos bastante agradable y accesible. Nos quedaremos nuevamente en un futuro cercano.

This place was surreal, from the moment we arrived Ana and Natalia were so helpful We felt like family while we were here! From where is the bank to what’s the best place to eat, they had answers for everything and that was very helpful for it was our first time visiting Costa Rica. 10/10 would stay again. Ps The sunset view off of the pent house is the most spectacular view on the whole street ♥️ you won’t want to Miss it, we rushed back every day just to see it🌅 Pura Vita! 🤙🏽

Casa Amapola is a beautiful house in a fabulous setting, with open views over the rainforest and down to the Caribbean Sea. It is spacious and well-equipped and you could easily sit on the veranda for days on end just enjoying the view and the wildlife around you. There is a bumpy track up to the Estate and then down to the property, but this is in relatively good condition for Costa Rican gravel tracks and is driveable with 2WD. The nearest town, Siquirres, is about 10km away and has a wide range of shops and restaurants. This is a beautiful place to stay if you want a quiet and peaceful experience of Caribbean Costa Rica and when they have finished upgrading the San Jose-Limon road then the coast will be easily accessible.

loved Bernals place.... great location can walk downtown in 15 minutes..... or take the bus right across the street....great grocery store 5 minutes away....great stay at Bernals place...

this place was really beautiful. A great place to get settled and rest up after the journey to Costa Rica. We did have a rental car and don't know how it would have been to get around without one, but pool, garden, nice house, kitchen, laundry, beautiful heard of cows across the street, constant flow of visiting birds, comfortable climate, sometime to help out if the Internet goes down or you need anything, and even a buzz zapper racquet to keep you from getting bit in the night if you happened to let a couple mosquitos inside. Overall a great stay, and I would stay there again if I make it back.
