Very cozy place, great views, pleasant environment, my children loved that the place had fruits and plants, we appreciate the detail of leaving pilots for the children.

Everything was excellent. The place was spotless, very comfortable and just like in the photos. We loved that the host left snacks and bottled water, a great touch. Very good communication too. We would definitely do it again!

Great 🟢 accommodation for when attending events at Hacienda Sitio Mata, you can even walk there. 🟢A fairly quiet and safe place. 🟢 The amenities are as described. 🟢 Marlon is very attentive to your needs. 🟡 The parking is on the edge of the street (Parking 1) but it has a space to store the cars less than 40 meters away that is safer (Parking 2) a little steep but more hidden, likewise, the area is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Spotless, comfortable cabin on a citrus orchard. The restaurant on the property has amazing food and excellent service. I’d stay here again.

Communication with the host was excellent. Very helpful and responsive. The cabin was great. Kitchen well stocked. Bed was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Note that the 5:30 am morning sun comes in and the animals get up that early. If you want to sleep in, bring eye covers and ear plugs. We had a lovely breakfast on the porch looking at the volcano. Overall, it was a good stay.

We stayed at Doug's house for one night, 4 families, with 4 children. The area is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica. It has a spectacular view and if you like the cold weather, it is the ideal place for a vacation outside the city but quite close. The cabin is super cozy, equipped with everything we needed for the needs of all families, Doug was super attentive from the first moment. We had a really good time - we would recommend it and will definitely return. We loved it!

This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

It is a place to clear, its pool is delicious. Both in and around the estate, you can see beautiful landscapes, natural sounds and you can walk enjoying the mountains and a rich river… I definitely recommend it, its own and sustainable style with nature, but above all that I liked most was how my pets had fun and tired of running and curious.

Kathya was very friendly and helpful. We booked in the morning and the cabin was ready when we arrived. We could have used the big pool, too, but unfortunately the weather didn't play along. We were 6 people (4 adults and 2 children). The cottage is very sweet, but with 6 people and a lot of luggage it gets tight (but Kathya can't help it). We can gladly recommend the place and would come back

We stayed because we had an activity at the Guayabo National Monument. The location was ideal because we were 20 minutes away. The stay is worth it and offers a beautiful view for breakfast outdoors. If we had stayed longer, we would have liked to paint a stone, because the option was there.

The cabin is very nice and has everything you need. The information provided was very useful, the cabin manager was extremely friendly, helpful and proactive. We went with the whole family, so there were children, adults and dogs, and we had no problems. The place is the same as the photographs and we hope to return soon! We really appreciate the service and the place.

The villa was on top of a mountain and the views and manicured surroundings were breathtaking. The house was designed superbly. You open the two opposite sliding glass doors and a wonderful cross breeze keeps the villa very nice. The pictures do not do do it justice. You must experience it. The best way I can describe this place is tranquil and an undescribable peace. You open the doors and you hear the wind in the palms and look out at the pool and scenic mountain views. We stayed for 2 months and we miss it all ready! They go over and above on amenities and it is spotless and well stocked. We will remember Hugo's place for a lifetime! He has a grounds keeper named Martin who is a wonderful person and was attentive and helpful. The place is spotless. I can't say enough about the beauty and the wonderful time we had.

the place is really special - it is the people that make the place like that. we had a great time, even before arriving communication with Deiby was great, very fast and helpful. we could checkin earlier than 3 which was very helpful. we were a bit surprised that we had rented the entire house consisting of 6(?) bedroom and 3 bathrooms.. of course the three of us used definitely less. the road next to the house did not really disturb us, simply because waking up at around 5.30 with the first light became our regular time. the dogs are very sweet and accompanied us wherever we went. the pool is just beautiful as well as the garden. Dona Anna prepared a beautiful meal on our last evening and we had great talks (in Spanish). the kitchen in the house is quite basic but was enough for us, we enjoyed the blender to prepare fruit shakes. all in all it was a great and in my eyes a very authentic experience to stay.

A beautiful area, full of peace and with a delicious climate. Everything is nice, clean and organized in the cabin. We slept deliciously and the blankets were perfect for that rich mountain cold, Jefferson was super friendly and attentive. We are grateful.

What a gorgeous space! The large room was the perfect spot for us to stop during our road trip. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. Natalia and Don Miguel were wonderful to deal with. The farm is located in a perfect place in the mountains to see the country, the view was spectacular! We were happy to be travelling in a 4x4, however the road to the farm is mostly paved. There are sign outlining where to go, it was easy to find with the instructions. We would stay again. We LOVED staying there. It had awesome views, Fabiola was very responsive, the fireplace was a highlight and the kitchen was well equiped. We explored during the day then came home to a fire, cooked dinner and played games in front of the fire. Will definitely go back!!!

If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.

Tito is very kind, the place is very nice, we had a good time with our two dogs who enjoyed running around the farm and meeting other animals (sheep, geese, ducks, chickens). We liked that the bathroom was impeccable, the cabin was very tidy, we thought we were going to be cold but even though it rained at night the temperature was perfect to stay between the blankets. We tried to go out to see the sunset but there was a lot of fog, but we really liked the silence. You have to be careful with the stairs because they get slippery, and there is a shower with hot water upstairs, we didn't need anything.
