Family-friendly vacation rentals in Turrialba

The house is very large, super comfortable, clean and very well equipped, it has even more than necessary, in addition to being very safe, David is super attentive and attentive to any need, he offered us a lot of collaboration at all times, we spent a few very beautiful days with family, always in communication with Kimberly.

I give this 5 stars because it is one of the most peaceful, quiet locations with an amazing view. Pay close attention to the navigation instructions. As long as you follow the instructions you should be good. 4x4 recommended but there is really only one spot that had some rocks where it was handy. Steep hill though. The garden is magnificent and well maintained. Butterflies everywhere. There is a hike down to the river behind the house. You can reach the 100’ waterfall via another route by the big Ceiba tree. We didn’t go due to time but I did get some amazing drone video of the waterfall and riverbed . Kitchen has plenty of room and everything you need. No it is not the 4 seasons but still deserving of a 5 star review for the experience, location, scenery and peace. We very much enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Turrialba and surrounding areas is such a gem to visit! The view was awesome and it’s amazing for bird watching!

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

Beautifully designed, practical, comfortable and well equipped apartment with gorgeous patio, surrounded by a coffee plantation. Communication was great and I felt at home right from the start. Very recommended for a month or longer stays.

The cabin is in a beautiful, mostly secluded location. You can actually feel that you are alone. Katherine was an excellent host who made sure things worked out. There is a restaurant very close.

A wonderful place, undoubtedly one of the best in the area. The access is perfect for all types of vehicles, and the house is very well equipped, with everything you need to simply arrive and enjoy. The pool table is in excellent condition, and the place in general exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go there again!

Have a nice time on Jimmy's place with my friends and pet. The cabin was spacious with a nice view and the place was perfect to walk in a calm and nice area. Regarding the access, had no issues with my Vitara 4x4. My other friend went up with a Grand Vitara 4x2 but has to take more impulse to go up. There is also an option to leave the car near the entrance and have a nice walk up to the cabin :).

Friendly hosts and remote, peaceful location. Very little human noise up on this mountaintop. Birds, night insects, frogs. I only heard one airplane. Saw a great curassow. The bungalow is on a horse farm and the area right around it is pretty open. Horse paths dip into the forest and you're allowed to walk these on your own. If you want to hike farther into the forest you can hire Chico (very nice man) to guide you into the river valley . Hike to the waterfall is a beautiful, slippery scramble to a lovely jungle oasis. Swimming at the base of the falls- glorious! Bungalow is rustic. If you like camping you will find it luxurious. If you don't, it may be too rustic for you. I loved it. Ferny outdoor bathroom is the nicest I've ever seen. Bungalow was musty when we got there but aired out nicely. Bed was very comfortable. Cold water only. Lighting is by candle - takes a little getting used to, but then so lovely. Hosts arranged transportation up and down mountain for me.

I went with my husband and some friends! We thought the place was spectacular! Only that the place requires some maintenance both outside and inside. Keep it in mind if they go. But otherwise, an excellent location as it is surrounded by nature, it is quiet and peaceful. Just what I was looking for

This is a wonderful place to experience all the beauty and wonder of Costa Rica. Mauricio and Christine are gracious hosts and made our stay perfect. Would highly recommend this place!

Had a great time with my family. The kids loved the pool and my wife and I loved the house and the nature around us. I think they have a deal with the animals and insects where they come great you on your stay :) we saw a 3 sloths, many birds, and neat insects

The house is very nice, clean, large and comfortable. The property is very nice and the hike on the trails is quite nice and accessible. We will stay again in the near future.
