We had a fantastic stay at this place while celebrating New Year with a group of 8. The location is lovely, surrounded by beautiful hiking opportunities. The master bedroom and the large room above have plenty of space, while the 2 downstairs rooms, although much smaller were cozy. Overall, the place is very well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend

This is one of the few vacation rentals we've opted to stay at multiple times. Such a clean and pretty home in one of the best locations in Tahoe Donner (we've stayed all over the map within the subdivision). The view is gorgeous in any season, the layout of the house is great, the bedrooms are spacious and the home actually has adequate hooks for wet towels, bathing suits, etc. (this is a peeve of mine when it comes to homes with hot tubs or pools, so this stands out as a small but much-appreciated perk, ha). Really appreciate that Tahoe Getaways actually has real people responding to check-in texts and answering their phones during business hours. We'll definitely be staying here again.

This was a delightful home located not too far from ski resorts with ample space to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well appointed as were the bathrooms and the entertainment consoles. We had an amazing time cooking, playing games and watching movies on the enormous and comfy couch. Highly recommend for groups to enjoy some time in the mountains together.

Our party of 8 ( 6 adults and 2 kids) plus 2 pets stayed for 2 nights and this beautiful cabin accommodated all of us very comfortably! We stayed in the entire time and there was plenty of entertainment for us and the kids. The views were absolutely breathtaking! The host was VERY responsive. We ran into some inconveniences upon arrival but thanks to the host’s quick responses, the issue was solved immediately! I would highly recommend this cabin, we would definitely be coming back!

Our group of 10 adults had a wonderful time during our stay! It's so difficult to find a place where everyone in a group this large can have their own bed and space, but this house delivered. It is located in the quiet and private Northstar resort neighborhood. The house was beautifully kept, equipped with a ton of useful amenities, and felt like luxurious, lived in home instead of your typical AirBnB. The hosts communicated well and overall, we had a great stay.

We loved staying at Kate’s place! It was so cozy and close to so many fun hikes. She was a great host and we’ll definitely be back soon!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Our 3 year old loved all of the toys in the kids room and it was very helpful to have a guava travel crib for our 5 month old so we didn’t have to bring ours. It was snowing when we arrived but the driveway was clear and the snowplow came again later that night so it was easy to get around. Great location and would highly recommend!

A great, beautiful, place to stay. Grandparents, their children, and grandchildren in the area for daughter’s graduation from UNR, and we all were very comfortable in this spacious house. Beautiyarea to explore also. Thank you so much!

Such a wonderful stay for the weekend! Everything was clean, warm and welcoming. The neighborhood was so serene. Instructions for check in and check out were clear. As far as checkout, I recommend taking the trash out the night before you plan to leave. It’ll save you a back and forth trip the morning of! I would definitely plan a stay here again!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful high-end cabin in Truckee. The attention to detail was exceptional—from the luxurious furnishings to the stunning mountain views, every element was thoughtfully curated for comfort and style. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking meals after a day of adventure. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, hot tub under the stars, and the peaceful surroundings that made it feel like a true escape. Just a short drive to skiing, downtown Truckee, and Lake Tahoe, the location was unbeatable. This cabin is a gem. What truly set this stay apart was the host. Korri was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It felt like staying at a five-star retreat with the personal touch of a caring host. Thank you Korri! The location was ideal—secluded enough to feel peaceful, but just minutes from downtown Truckee, ski resorts, and outdoor adventures. Next visit booked already

This palace was very confortable and easy to find

This was the perfect place for my family's ski vacation. It's very close to the resorts, a very short drive to the main street of Truckee, and very short walking distance to a little shopping plaza with all the basics- grocery, drugstore, ski shop, a few restaurants, etc. The condo complex is nice and peaceful, people are friendly, and the amenities are good too. The apartment itself was excellent. Clean, uncluttered, but had all the basic supplies and stuff that you need but wouldn't bring with you on vacation. Andrew was a friendly and communicative host. It was all in all a very good experience!

Our family really enjoyed our four night stay and would happily return. The house had everything we needed, was in a great location, felt easy and right at home. Thanks Nectar!

We enjoyed William’s place. It was the perfect location for our family. We spent a couple of days in Truckee, enjoying the surroundings and my kids really enjoyed the little touches that William provided in his home. My son really enjoyed the foosball table and playing with the snow outside. My daughter enjoyed the little teepee in the living room and the fireplace in the kitchen. Overall, a clean quiet place perfect for families. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This home was one of the best places we have stayed at for our annual family ski trip. It was so comfortable, yet so spacious! The kitchen was absolutely perfect! We all love to cook in my family and it worked out perfectly. Your kitchen was nicely stocked! It was such a pleasure if we forgot that certain spice, it was in your cabinets. The loft upstairs was perfect for our grandsons and the bedroom. They loved the children toys provided, books, legos, arts and crafts, especially the teepee (that was a hit). The beds were very comfortable! Loved the heated floors! Very quiet neighborhood, the floor plan of your home was great, very spacious but comfortable. We will be back next year!

The place is quiet and nice; just a short walk to the lake. Ganesh has very clear instructions and the place /house is awesome!

We had such a nice stay here! The Airbnb was clean, had plenty of space, and was in such a peaceful, quiet area. Michelle was extremely responsive and helpful, as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. We loved how easily walkable it was to many different restaurants and shops. It had plenty of room for our whole group and the indoor porches were a fun spot to sit and read, talk, and look at the beautiful scenery. It is in perfect condition and was clean and ready to go when we arrived. I can't wait to come back again and stay here.

Our stay at the Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The home was comfortable making it a joy to return to after our daily adventures. Everything was spotless clean, and a peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing getaway. I was especially thrilled with the river being just outside the house, which set a relaxing atmosphere. We especially appreciated how kid-friendly the space was; it really made traveling with our little ones so much easier. We had a fantastic stay for the 2025 ski season! The cabin was both cozy and well-equipped, making it the perfect home base for our trip. The linens were neatly organized, which made laundry a breeze. The kitchen was impressively stocked—even a Vitamix! The board game closet was a treasure trove, with a huge selection of games and even toys for kids. Our 1-year-old is definitely going to miss the toy power tools! The location was also ideal—secluded enough to feel peaceful, yet just down the hill from the park-and-ride for the Palisades shuttle. Thank you for being such thoughtful hosts! We’re already hoping to book again next season.

Adam was very responsive throughout the process and answered all questions. He also allowed us to check in a little early which was very helpful with the little ones. House wise it was great and as described. The pics were accurate and really doesn’t capture how big the house is. The open space was great for adults being able to both entertain and watch the kids. The proximity to snow right off the back porch was perfect. Location was great and would definitely recommend and come back.
