Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Trnovo District

Thank you very much. We had a wonderful stay of two nights. We visited the world famous Caves and the castle. The apartment is as described, very calm, very spacious, lots of privacy, own washing machine which came handy, parking space just in front of the house, and a garden full of toys for kids. Our daughter loved running in the garden and exploring it. We can highly recommend this quiet paradise after a day full of sightseeings.

Independent accommodation, functional, clean and quiet. Comfortable bedding and Edo is very attentive and gives good advice. Access to ljubiana is easy via bus 13, 30 to 40 minutes to the city center (zmaski most stop, next to the Dragon Bridge). No bus pass required, you pay directly by credit card.

Ales was an amazing host, the apartment was nice and cute, close to a lot of activities with great views! He is really nice, available to help and extremely friendly! Highly recommend

Wonderful place to stay in Ljubljana. Ljubljana is entirely walkable, but just about 5 minutes walk to the main square with the triple bridges. Babu’s street food is right outside the apartment, and he’s so friendly and makes great food from Bangladesh. Suzana responded politely and promptly to me. I would totally recommend this place.

Lovely and peaceful location, perfect for a longer stay. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen great for cooking, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, washing machine, and dryer. The large garden with outdoor seating is a wonderful spot to relax. Free parking available on the property. The host, Andrej, was very kind and always reachable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

The place was very quiet and conveniently close to the river, making it a peaceful retreat. Ales was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. It truly felt like an authentic local living experience. We were very satisfied with everything and would happily stay again 😊

We had an amazing stay in this apartment. It is right in the heart of Ljubljana, steps from the main square and the triple bridge. The apartment is extremely spacious, feels brand new and was very comfortable. The owners were also extremely responsive, friendly and flexible. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is one of the best Airbnb locations we have stayed at. It is located in the middle of Old Town and is steps fom the river front. It is peaceful, quiet and private with a stunning view of the city. Andrej is a very proactive host, providing restaurant recommendations and was able to assist us when we had questions or needed help. He is incredibly kind and is one of the most accommodating hosts we have had - really top notch! We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful city and would do it again! Thank you Andrej for a delightful holiday!

A very cosy place at the heart of the old town! The location could not be better and the apartment is perfectly described. I had a great stay here and would have stayed longer if it were not booked. (Note: It is on the 3rd floor, so you just need to be prepared to carry your bags up, but the stairs are not 'tall' ones.). Overall, I highly recommend.

Klara is a great host. She welcomed us into the apartment, gave us her local recommendations and was very responsive. The apartment is very well equipped with a washing machine, hair dryer and kitchen utensils.

Ziga’s place was an excellent location in the heart of Ljubljana. The apartment is very stylish and looks just like the pictures. The AC was fantastic especially because of how hot it was when we were there. Ziga was always very courteous in his responses but a little slower than what I have normally encountered with a lot of hosts. The WiFi was the highest challenge. It was very slow and even after resetting the router, it would be okay for some time and then go back to the dial up speed. Ziga did offer to call the internet provider but I don’t think that would have helped. Even loading Google maps would take painfully long. The hot water was inconsistent in the shower but given the hot weather, it wasn’t a huge issue. I did hit my head once, going from the kitchen to the corridor and something to bear in mind for someone around 5’9” or taller. Ziga was kind enough to allow us extra 30 minutes for the checkout. Overall we had a pleasant stay except the internet issues.

We decided to visit Ljubljana at the last minute. Finding Milena’s place available was a treat. It is a very nice home in a fantastic location. Milena is a great communicator and host.

We had a wonderful stay in Ljubljana. The apartment is modern, well equipped and located in Tivoli Park. My only criticism is that they accidentally forgot to clean the apartment before we arrived. Andrej was immediately available, the cleaning was done immediately and we were able to check in after a walk into the clean apartment.

This was a lovely place to stay. It was located near the main town square and the river and close to restaurants and activities. The building is old, but the third floor apartment is lovely and nicely decorated. It has a modern and well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space for two. It also has air conditioning which was a real plus as it was hot while we were there and this made the apartment a lovely retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom’s place. It was so charming and cozy. I loved the design and thoughtful elements put in to making it functional but pretty. I always love a place with history and Tom was not shy about sharing so much interesting background about is space and the area in general. He was close by if we needed, but never in a way that felt hover-y. Tom was so friendly and welcoming. The stairs were not overwhelming but offered a little bit of exercise to burn off a few calories leaving more room for dumplings. Tom is a fountain of knowledge about all things… take his food recommendations! The beds were comfortable and set up was exactly the space we needed. Also… as a fellow lover of plants, I was in heaven. It’s a drive to get to the city center but not too far. We hope to return someday soon. Slovenia is lovely and the people are wonderful.

Perfect place to stay in Ljubljana! Beautiful balcony view overlooking the river and walking streets. Right in the center so everything is walkable and such a great apartment. Would stay here again anytime!

I had a wonderful time staying at Filip’s place! Filip’s mum kindly met me to hand over the key when I arrived in the evening. The apartment was perfect for my 5 day stay, and had everything I needed! The extra toiletries provided and the breakfast food was a great bonus. I’d recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Ljubljana. Thanks so much!
