Casa Giroud in Trinidad Downtown. Room 3

JeffreyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kudos to Betty and her team at Casa Giroud. We enjoyed a great weekend in Trinidad! Even though there are many good restaurants nearby, we started each day with the 6USD breakfast which was absolutely delicious. The little swimming pool was used by us on a daily basis. Clean and refreshing! Apagones are a problem in all of Cuba, but especially in the provinces. Be aware that there's a generator for the house that turns on in the evening. It doesn't operate the fridge nor the A/C, but it's nice to recharge all your devices and to have a fan on when there's a blackout at night. Communication is superb. Betty speaks English perfectly and was helpful with recommendations and advice about the city. I would definitely re-book the next time I come to Trinidad.

Very nice Casa with lovely hosts. We felt like at home. breakfast is delicious, room is spacious and modern, very good wi-fi. We wanted to stay in Trinidad for 2 nights, but extended to four, because we had great time. There are many excursions offered in Casa and they offer good recommendations. Would definetly come again.

The place is magnificent, spacious, clean and comfortable!! The terrace is a plus (super nice), the house is super well located, just a few meters from the main square. Mrs. Dayami is a super good host, she took care of us like a mother, she made us feel at home!! Recommended 10/10
