Our long weekend in Hayle Shed was cosy and very comfortable. Jenni and Jennie’s eye for detail has resulted in a wonderfully quirky and original space containing all that was needed for an enjoyable stay. We appreciated the extra thoughtful touches and all the handy local information provided. Hayle Shed is fabulously positioned near the town centre for nearby eateries and shops and right next door to the Sunday Markets. We would highly recommended this absolute Daylesford gem. Perfect for a rainy long weekend! We were given the perfect amount of firewood/kindling for our stay. We were kept very warm (which was much needed this weekend)! It was super relaxing listening to the rain pouring in the roof of the cabin. During the day we explored Convent Art Gallery & the Mill Market. At night we enjoyed choosing from the provided DVDs what to watch! Perfect place to switch off :)

It was great to arrive and find a couple of lights on incase we arrived late. The house was easy to find and the key safe was in a great location. As we walked inside the long passage had some doors running off to 3 large bedrooms and a shared bathroom, the main bedroom had an ensuite that had a very large bath tub in. The beds were soft and the linen was very clean. The house is large and has a beautiful back garden area with a large bird feeder. (take a small packet of bird seed and put in the rotating wheel). The views from the balcony are of nice bush land. The house has a very large common area and the kitchen has everything that you need. Thank you Deb for a loverly house. Warm regards Gary

Nigel's place was fantastic. Everything about the property was great. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. The view across the paddock was great and the kids had an amazing time exploring the property and trying to spot the kangaroos. We took our telescopes with us and the night star gazing was one of the best we've seen. Highly recommend.

We loved staying here for our mums weekend away. The views are amazing, the house was cozy and close to all the local attractions. We loved sitting by the fire in the afternoons watching the incredible sunsets. The house was perfect for what we needed, the kitchen was set up so well and had everything we needed to cook our own meals.

We had a wonderful stay at Jack's Place! The attention to detail in maintaining the original 60s aesthetic was fantastic -- it was like stepping into a time capsule! Everything was clean and comfortable, and Michael and Cate were very thoughtful and responsive in their communications. The electric blankets on the beds were a godsend for the winter nights! I would highly recommend this place as a base for exploring Ballarat.

Christine and Mark were friendly, very responsive and informative, and made the booking arrangements very easy. The moment we arrived at their beautiful Bellflower Cottage, we knew we had made the right choice. Such a warm inviting home, with everything you needed and things you didn't even know you needed, but will now be looking for in future properties! Luxurious bedding, beautiful furnishings, books, games, amazing breakfast provisions, great information booklet, we went to two of the recommended restaurants, which were amazing!. A beautiful kitchen with very tasetful crockery, cutlery etc. Wonderful bathroom provisions and great laundry. Lovely areas to relax in, both inside and outside of the home. Such a peaceful area, lots of bird life and one very cheeky possum, to sit and watch in the backyard or from the dining area. Would love to stay again, when back in the area. A perfect place to retreat - and not too far from Daylesford town centre (note: I'd recommend driving and not walking - it's not very scenic). The house was very well equipped, in good working order and very clean and had beautiful Salu bathroom products and Marimekko linen. Even though this property is dog friendly, could not smell or even hint that an animal had been present. Fireplace and spa were definitely the highlight. Even though the property is shared with perhaps 1 or 2 other units - couldn't hear our 'neighbours'. Would def stay again.

I loved Renee and Izy’s place. Perfect location (short walk onto the Main Street, and up to the Convent). The heating was great, the bed was comfy. Thanks so much.

Clevedon Cottage was a cosy, beautiful cottage conveniently located within walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Castlemaine. Considering we stayed on the long weekend in June when the Jazz festival was on in town, it was priced exceptionally well, and had a lot of thoughtful touches inside that you wouldn't get elsewhere. I highly recommend for anyone planning a short stay in Castlemaine.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had such a fabulous time. The apartment was spotless and in a perfect location right next to brunswick street. Definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay in Jane’s cosy, warm and well appointed property. It’s close to all the restaurants and shops, but removed and quiet. We especially loved the welcoming food items and the laundry! We would not hesitate to return.

This place is perfect and comfortable. So accessible and modern, close to the Fitzroy action and heaps of pubs. Bedroom was so quiet and the kitchen and lounge was so spacious. Highly recommended.

Chante was an absolutely amazing host, The Penthouse was squeaky clean, Kitchen was beautiful and had all you need - Coffee/milk/sugar/coffe machine all the cutlery you might need. The spa is amazing, the bed and couch are super comfortable, and Chante was kind enough to allow us an early check-in upon request. She was very responsive and friendly as well , would absolutely recommend this place, The only thing you might find a bit odd is the smell due to the spa being in the open but use the Exhause fan on top of the spa that helps alot, My only recommendation would be adding some sort of Air-freshner, Other than that this place was absolutely Fantastic. 💯

Andrew was the perfect host - he was super helpful, responsive and offered to stay up late in case I had issues getting in, given my late arrival time. Communication was great and very open to helping where possible. The apartment itself was lovely and views were fantastic being on the top floor. You could still hear a lot of the traffic and trams however so perhaps bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but otherwise not a big deal, just one of the things about being in an urban area. I was there for work so was a very quick stay but it was a close walk for where I needed to be which was great, thanks for having me Andrew and being a fantastic host!

I stayed here for a business trip and had a great experience. The location was perfect — within walking distance or a quick tram ride to anywhere in the city, and less than 10 minutes on foot from the Skybus stop from the airport. There were supermarkets, a beautiful park, and the QV Market all nearby. Despite the central location, it was very affordable. The host was very responsive to messages, and the room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again!

Kate's cosy apartment was super good. Restaurants, theaters, great shopping, transport and even parks all really close by. Really close. Great shower, comfy bed, and so many thoughtful extras that I never expected. Thanks Kate for a wonderful week.

My wife and I had great 5 day stay. Amanda was a great host and clear with her instructions. The unit is in a fantastic position, ultra quiet and close to all you need to do in Melbourne without the hustle and bustle of staying in the CBD. Ikigai was a great host. The apartment is located close to the museums and restaurants and it is easy to get around by walking. We stayed in the apartment with our family and our son and felt right at home. I highy recommend Ikigai’s apartment.
