Great location near lots of things to see and do within the neighborhood if you don’t mind commuting to the shinjuku/shibuya areas. Very comfortable room and facilities, we were able to cook and do laundry too which was convenient.

Near Nakai station and Ochiai station, on foot about 10 mins. You may easily heard the noise from other rooms. But it is acceptable. Cheaper prices than hotels snd convenient. Overall, good hostel.

Nomad Hostel East/ Single Private Room-Bunkbed #9

ViktoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a great stay at Nomad! The staff were very kind, and I immediately felt at home in my room. The facilities are excellent, with two kitchens, common areas, a balcony, and even a terrace with a view of the Skytree. The location is right by Asakusa – lively during the day but much quieter at night compared to places like Shinjuku or Shibuya. I always felt safe, and the nearby Sumida River is perfect for a peaceful walk. Yes, the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear other guests, but with everything you get here, that’s a small trade-off. Just use earplugs (they even provide some!), and you’re good to go. Highly recommend!

Stayed in cocts for our first two nights in Tokyo after travelling from the UK. Was a little bit apprehensive that I wouldn't be able to sleep due to noise of other previous hostel stays but cocts was both perfectly quiet & peaceful. The beds are comfy & the toilets / shower rooms are both private and tucked away from the bedrooms. The staff are also lovely & very accommodating with any questions you might have. They have a good communal space on the ground floor where you can have fried chicken / food if you are jet lagged like us & needing fuel asap. All in all a perfect experience for our Tokyo stay!

The hostel looks just like the photos. The amenities are basic but clean. Decent value for money in Tokyo. Close to a major metro station. Recommend for budget travelers. A little far from the major nightlife areas if that is important to you.

[HAOSTAY OTSUKA 101] 7-minute walk to Tokyo Otsuka station, most convenient in Tokyo/Triple room

성태Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
It was quite spacious for a Japanese accommodation. Both subway stations are within 10 minutes, and there are many convenience stores nearby, so it was good to buy snacks. However, depending on the location of the room or the location of the bed, the Wi-Fi connection may be slow or unavailable, but you can use it normally if you go out to the hallway. Apart from this, it's definitely a great place to stay. Overall, a very great place to stay:)

Nomad Hostel / Semi-Private Dorm / Desk&Chair #6

JaimeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nomad Hostel in Sumida City was a great experience. It's a 2-minute walk from a Lawson, a 15-minute walk to the main Tokyo train stations, and within walking distance of the Sumida riverbed, where you can take a morning walk or run. It was an amazing experience, and I loved that it provided more privacy and a lockable room compared to other hostels. Restrooms and Showers were cleaned daily by nomad staff which was definitely a bonus. As a plus, it’s a 30-minute walk from the Tokyo Skytree! I definitely recommend it for anyone planning a trip to Tokyo you won’t regret it!

It was a good spot to stay at. The laundry is a bit expensive but you’re paying for convenience. Although one issue is that one of the dryers takes a long time to dry, the left one specifically. Besides that. Everything is great. Loaded paper, loaded soaps and conditioner, very clean shower and bathroom. 11/10 would recommend if you’re on a budget and looking to move around easily.

A16 Hostel Tokyo【Female】Dormitory

冠之Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Arrived a little after 1:00 that day, originally wanted to drop off the luggage first, but it turned out that I could check in directly ~ You will be given a luggage tag first, but you can only pick up the QR-Code card for entry and exit with the luggage tag after 3:00 The bed was much smaller than I imagined. At🥹 first, I was arranged in the upper bunk, and after inquiring, I was smoothly switched to the lower bunk, but it was a straight bed with the feet facing out, not a horizontal one, so it was a little difficult to get in and out (each bed was facing a little differently) The wooden boards between the beds are also very thin, and a knock may affect the next door neighbor. It's really😭 a bit inconvenient. Four stars for cleanliness because there was some dust in the gap between the mattress and the bed board + one person left unopened chopsticks (but it was still within acceptable limits, after all, it was really small and cleaning should be difficult, but the pillows, duvets and sheets were clean! The pillows are soft, and in addition to the duvet, the pillows also come with two thinner cleaning pads that can be placed on the mattress & duvet) The sound of the tram is quite loud, so it is difficult for people who want to sleep to think twice or ask them to arrange the beds inside the room!(There are also free earplugs available at the counter for pick-up) When I changed beds, the counter also asked me if it was okay that the empty bed was near the window and the sound would be louder ~ I think it's very thoughtful There are four sinks + four or five toilets and a bathroom (the bathroom is restricted and cannot be used if it is too late), as well as trash cans and a centralized luggage area There are three public bathrooms for girls on the sixth floor, and four for both men and women, but the sink and hair dryer are only in the men's and women's areas, which is a little awkward. You can only eat on the first floor, there is a microwave, water heater, room temperature water and tableware to use, and there are outlets in almost every seat The staff can also help with the instant noodle soup.🥹 Thank you very much. There are also a lot of washing machines and dryers on the first floor that I didn't use, but it should be very convenient👍 The location is really convenient for transportation😭!As soon as you come out of Asakusabashi Station, cross the road and walk for two or three minutes, you will immediately reach the accommodation, and there are many restaurants & 7-11 & Lawson nearby Easy to access to Akihabara or other stations in Tokyo Recommended for people with budget constraints and those who want a location with good transportation.

Nomad Hostel / Semi-Private Dorm / Desk&Chair #5

Thank you so much for a lovely stay, Nomad Hostel 🥰 This place is truly great value for your money. To get your own little nook with a sliding door you can close behind you for this price is a rare find! Other guests were quiet and respectful in the dormitories - this is a hostel where you can just have a peaceful stay by yourself or be social with others in the common areas, however you wish. As someone who can be a bit introverted at times, I felt very comfortable here. One thing to note is that despite booking under this listing, I actually stayed in a different building next door that's one of several Nomad Hostel properties. I was greeted in the street by a friendly employee who then escorted me to the other building, though, so it was still very easy to check in. Remember to bring a padlock in case you wish to lock your sliding door, or your personal locker in the common area :) Nomad Hostel is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend 🙏

The place to stay is very good. It is easy to navigate according to the map. It is very close to the subway station. The interior of the house is very clean. The two young ladies who check in are also very welcoming and attentive. The surrounding Sensoji Temple and Skytree are also very close. You can walk to the surrounding area in about ten minutes. Convenience stores and restaurants are also very convenient. Everyone in the room is very quiet and suitable for travel accommodation.
