Central location with Estuary View - Sleeps Seven

JamesRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely apartment, in a perfect location in the heart of Salcombe. Given the weather was pretty terrible, we had a great long weekend in Salcombe - the apartment was both cosy and comfortable, but had plenty of space for us. Great facilities, comfortable beds and sofa, and beautiful views through the buildings across the estuary. Great comms from the hosts - would definitely stay again. Recommend the Winking Prawn for lunch and the Kings Arms for dinner. The Fortesque became our local for beers, decent wine and a pool table.

Fantastic townhouse right in the heart of Dartmouth. Very homely feel and perfect for our family of four. Helen was very helpful, answering questions quickly and had great recommendations for walks in the area. Beautiful views of Dartmouth and very handy to have a private car parking space in centre of town. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Last Minute Stunning view Dartmouth River and Sea

JoeRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Astonishingly brilliant location overlooking Dartmouth and Kingswear. Shops, pubs and restaurants only a few minutes away, yet peaceful location with views both of the sea and up the estuary. Ideal for the walker, with the South West Coast Path running outside the front door towards Blackpool Sands, Torcross and (via the lower ferry) Brixham. Easy access to ferries, buses and (steam) trains for those travelling without a car. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Pitchford House, Salcombe (5 Bed)

SeanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We loved the house! The location was excellent being half way up the high street with a clear view of the sea and the secret stairway out the back of the kitchen up to the roof garden and fire pit was a real treat. The living room fire place was a delight and the wood fuel was very well stocked. The kitchen was a good size and very well lit with natural light thanks to the sky light. The beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen. Thank you Freya for a fantastic stay!
A stylish lounge area features a dark sofa adorned with vibrant pillows in shades of yellow and metallic. A contemporary piece of artwork hangs on the wall, while natural light streams through large windows dressed with vertical blinds. A lamp and decorative storage box add character.

Stunning, newly-refurbished central townhouse.

NickRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had three nights at Chris' place and had a fabulous stay. It is brilliantly located in sight of the main train station so extremely convenient for guests arriving by train. It was spotlessly clean and and felt very homely. Plenty of space. There was some nice extra touches like the milk, choccy biscuits and free netflix. We had a very comfortable stay and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

A great stay in the heart of Shaldon. So many conveniences: coffee, chippy, general store, bakers, butchers, pubs, are all minutes away. We spent far too much in Clippers and FBI, it was a great trip, and the hikes were perfect with the dog. Ness Cove was a great find Thanks Anthony and team

Stones Throw Cottage close to the beach and town

FionaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Another great stay at Stones Throw Cottage with my 2 young boys. Very nicely done, uncluttered and homely, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely hot shower! Excellent location in a quiet road with the beach just a 5 mini walk away! Manor gardens is a lovely space 5 mins the other way and connects to a walkway to the other end of the beach which is away from the road too - comes out at the sensory garden next to the Pavillion theatre & cafe. Excellent communication with Deborah before and during stay. Highly recommend. Will return!

5-bedroom Victorian cottage in friendly village

ClickRating, 5 stars10 months ago
A perfect location for getting out and about, easy access onto the A38, and easy parking right outside the property. Molly always replied very quickly to questions and is really helpful, the information pack at the house was brilliant, and the walk across the meadow to the river just across the road from the house is a must do! The Claycutters Arms is fantastic for an evening meal with a good play area for the little ones. The house was perfect for a large family holiday, the stairs are a little steep but you soon learn to adapt, the beds are all comfortable and the whole house is clean and tidy, a great place to stay.

Beautiful Town house, in a quite central part of Exeter.. Great access to the University and City centre. Would definitely like to stay again next time we visit our son at Uni.

Doray Townhouse - Okehampton

PeterRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We both enjoyed our stay at the house, it was what we expected, the only thing that we didn’t like was the parking the first day was fine, we parked right outside the house, then we found we could not park anywhere near for 3 days as it looked like the next door neighbors had two or three vehicles and took up the spaces. But apart from that it was great.
A tranquil courtyard garden is featured, showcasing a patio with a glass table and four cushioned chairs under a large umbrella. Lush greenery, including a small tree and shrubs, surrounds the space, enhancing the inviting atmosphere for outdoor relaxation.

Sandbanks: Well located Townhouse in Teignmouth

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is the second time we have stayed in this property and found it clean, comfortable and homely. It is furnished with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable home from home stay, with additional extras for families such as books, games. DVD’s etc. The patio is a suntrap especially in the morning. The property is situated on the edge of town in a quiet street, a short walk from the shops and seafront and a couple of minutes walk from the train station. Despite its close proximity, we never once heard the noise of the trains in the property and was ideal for travel into nearby Torquay, Paignton, Newton Abbott, Dawlish, Exeter etc. Yes the property is over 3 floors and probably not suitable for anyone with certain physical disabilities or mobility issues. However, we are a fairly active couple in our early 60’s and found it no issue at all. The addition of a private parking space was a big plus for us. Communication with the host excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Dartmouth townhouse moments from waterfront

GaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Annie was always responsive to our messages always replying within ten minutes. The house is located in the centre of Dartmouth and met our needs perfectly we were in Dartmouth for the music festival. The house was clean and tidy and well presented. We had an issue with no hot water one morning but Annie sorted this issue out within two hours…. thank you Annie. Car parking might have been an issue had we needed the car every day but we didn’t need it, so it was parked on Mount Boone for a week free of charge. Overall a nice chilled out holiday in a nice property in a nice town with glorious sunshine for a week……perfect.

Historic Townhouse with Garden & Parking

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great location, easy to walk into Totnes. Sorting out parking to start was a bit tricky but soon cracked a system that worked well. I assume local authority will not give a residents parking to holiday lets, we have experienced the same in Dorset We were very lucky with weather and had some great days out. A couple of suggestions, I am of a non social media era and prefer hard copy so a guest suggestion book in paper would suit me better but as I say that is the dinosaur in me. A bit silly this but the cereal bowls are a nightmare for the dishwasher due to size and shape, the size also leads to one over indulging somewhat. Everything else was fine
