House and facilities were clean with plenty to keep the family occupied. Beautiful and quiet surroundings with excellent beaches 30-40 minutes away.

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and felt very comfortable ,everything we needed was available and Kirsty was always helpful.clean and tidy .beds very comfy.beautiful garden and very hot hot tub ,perfect. Log fire was cosy for evenings .would definitely stay again .lovely addition of a milk farm next door and enjoyed the mooing cows . Great place for all ages . The annex was perfect for our teen son as he had his own space .

Such a beautiful location and the cottage was warm and welcoming. Very comfy and had everything that we needed. Great for either relaxing or visiting attractions. The pool and hot tub were both a huge hit. Lovely host in John and fascinating watching how the biomass works too. Thanks for having us and will come again

The property was very clean, comfortable, and well decorated, the gardens were well maintained with a variety of plants growing however the slabs are showing some age and make the chairs wobble a bit. The beds were all made ready for our arrival and were extremely comfortable to sleep in. The location can be difficult to find but the hosts gave us additonal instructions that cleared up any issues we had. The front door was also a little stiff getting unlocked. It's a short walk down into the town but with the property on a hill walking back up later can be tiring. We had a brilliant weekend and have been talking about visiting again before we even left.

We were excited for Stonewalls from the minute we found the ad. Our hosts were amazing, always helpful and responsive, and the house itself was wonderful. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and really felt like a "home from home". The hot tub was immense, and absolutely made our holiday. We have friends in Torquay, so it worked well with day trips to Totnes, Plymouth and Torquay. We also had a wonderful meal at the Crabshell and wanders round Kingsbridge. Thank you so much again for a wonderful stay and we'll definitely be back 😊

Booked for a surprise birthday treat for my wife, when we arrived she was over the moon! Beautiful house, private garden with hot tub. Everything you need throughout & the most comfortable bed! Lovely treats of Prosecco & freshly baked bread on arrival, great touch! Alison & Jeremy were really friendly, responding quickly with any request. If the grandparents will take the kids again for a few nights we’ll definitely be back!

Wow! What a find! We felt so relaxed and at home at Lemon Cottage. Everything has been thought of here and there are some really nice touches, everything within the cottage is really high spec. Thank you for the welcome hamper, so lovely to arrive to. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden very private and peaceful. Thank you Claire for sharing your beautiful home with us and providing us with the perfect place to celebrate our recent graduation! 😄

Great place to stay, excellent facilities in the cottage! On arrival the cottage was very clean and was greeted with complimentary sweet treats which was delightful! Linzi was a great host and was easy to communicate with if needed! The location of the cottage was perfect and only a short walk away from local restaurants and beaches! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants a nice break away!

We’ve just returned from our stay at Captains Cottage. Such a lovely home to stay in and the kids particularly liked the added bonus of the Xbox and Alexa. Great location within walking distance of lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Brixham is such a lovely area to stay in and explore but also easy to get around on the bus and travel to explore further in the car. We always found a car space usually at the top of the steps, only struggled on one very rainy day. We would definitely return if we were to brave the 6 hour journey again. Thank you for letting us stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosedale Cottage, plenty of space for our family group of 3 generations. We particularly loved the large dining space for our family meals. Lesley was really helpful with local recommendations and checking we had everything we needed. The cottage was really well equipped. We would definitely stay again if returning to the area.

A really good location with beaches and places of interest only a short traveling distance away. The creek and local village pub were excellent and an easy walk along with the village store. The house has decent size rooms and facilities with a nice patio area which gets the sun all day long. We would definitely stay here again.

Just as described. Perfect location. Only a little hill to walk up if you’re going to the house from the harbour. For one of these classic cottages it’s nice and spacious. All we needed for a long weekend stay. The pub along the road as great. Lovely atmosphere and caused no noise problems. Would happily stay again. Annie was super friendly and responds instantly. Let us in a bit earlier than expected and let us know we could check out an hour later as the cleaner was delayed. Lovely touch. Thanks again.

Couldn’t be a more perfect location, close to the harbour with plenty of food options, coastal walking routes and a co-op. We managed to park very close by for free & didn’t move the car all weekend as we were walking distance from everything. Everything we needed for a weekend in Brixham & a comfortable place to relax and sleep. Celeste was very responsive and helped us with any questions.

This place was better than we imagined, it was a lot bigger than what we expected from the photos, the view was beautiful and the location was perfect. The parking pass was very helpful and it was great with the keypad so we didn't have to worry about looking after a key. The location is also very close to the harbour but it was silent at night!

lovely Cottage in beautiful location. spacious and child friendly for five. the kitchen has everything you could need on holiday. parking was easy with two cars and permit for one. kayaks, crabbing and good food on the Quay. would love to go again.

We had a lovely time at Kingsford Cottage. We were greeted with the peaceful energy that only comes from being so close to nature. The cottage itself was beautifully kept, cozy, clean and thoughtfully decorated with coastal touches. Great communication throughout from Pam & Richard. Thank you

We had a great stay here - easily walkable to Brixham centre, nice and quiet in the evenings and very well stocked for your needs during a short family stay. Also Molly is exceptionally responsive and helped us have a great stay

What a great place, the host gave us alot of info and ideas of where to go for food and nightlife. The house itself was lovely and well maintained. Great location also, literally a stones throw from the harbour. would definitely stay again. Great value for a property that size and for the location.

Mia's place was absolutely lovely. The whole cottage feels so cosy and it really nicely decorated. The views over Brixham are fab and the cottage is conveniently located. We were minutes away from pubs, coffee shops and the town centre while still feeling tucked away. The stairs are very steep so wouldn't be suitable for children. We had a really nice stay and would happily visit again.

A second great stay at The Linhay. Ruth and Rob are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. It is very tranquil and an ideal place to relax and unwind. The surrounding areas of Torquay, Totnes, Brixham, etc have both coast and country within easy driving. The Linhay itself has been spotless both times we have been there and has all the necessities for comfort and catering as well as being warm, cosy, quiet and private. We would not have returned a second time if we had not been impressed by our first visit.

We had a great weekend walking the SW Coast Path from Claire’s place. Well positioned for that in a quiet area but near to a small high street. Would recommend it as a place to stay away from the bustle of the coastal towns which are all very accessible from this location. We would stay again

I would definitely stay here again. The village is beautiful, peaceful and everyone seems so friendly. So many things to see within a short walk too. The cottage is immaculate and welcoming. I love the log burner, the kitchen and the patio area. I love the whole place. I could have moved in. Thanks, John and Donna.

A great place to stay. Near enough to Brixham to walk or catch the bus but the bonus for us was the parking, Marie and her husband were super friendly and Marie gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and local information. All the “expected” amenities provided. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay there again myself,
