Vacation rentals with lake access in Torbay

Fantastic house and facilities. An amazing holiday stay to meet up with family . Luxurious bedrooms , beds so comfortable, in fact it was all so lovely. It was a short walk down the road to the pebbled beach. The nature reserve is across the road opposite the house and the views from the front windows overlooking this are so relaxing . The jacuzzi was so relaxing , family loved it . Good location for walking . Well done.

Overcreek is a lovely barn conversion tucked away in the middle of a wood, great for privacy and wildlife. Brian's directions are good, use these and W3W in place of postcode and satnav. It's peaceful spot and a comfortable place to spend a holiday with good local places to visit and eat out. One thing to watch out for, the supermarket we asked to deliver were not prepared to drive up to the house - and only told us when attempting to make the delivery - we drove down and transferred shopping to our car without a problem so easily resolved but something to be aware of. Brian is a very responsive host, responding in minutes to any queries. He was also quick to pass on highlights of local news - both weekly local events announcements and the more unusual such as when ospreys had arrived at the millpool! Having been let down with a late cancellation of a booking in this area made with National Trust, this was a great find.

Always a delight to stay at The Pink House! Book it quick as it’s a lovely place to stay . We’ve missed out on the dates we wanted for our next trip, so don’t hesitate with booking !!

Great location, spacious home with lots of natural light. Kitchen is highly usable with lots of room for group cooking. Town is incredibly accessible and so is parking lot close to property. Overall great experience.

Beautiful house & fabulous location. 3 generations of us (16-85) & good for us all. Very homely house with everything you need. Enjoyed the views from the bedrooms and window seat. We loved the activities of the ferries and the bustle. There is some noise from early morning til late evening from the ferry ramp against the dock, but we didn’t mind this at all. 2 great pubs in Kingswear for food & lots of places to eat in Dartmouth. Lots to see & do locally. The parking was £77.55 for the week in the marina car park. Lots of spaces. Didn’t drive all week. So lovely to relax here & we hope to come back again. Highly recommended!

A great space in a quiet part of town but easy walk to the town and the beach. Parking at the long stays was organised via permit. It is a decent walk to the long stay car parks, but perfectly manageable for us.

We had a lovely couple of nights in the cottage. There was everything we needed. The kids loved the easy access to the enclosed private garden. Unfortunately we didnt get a chance to explore the grounds but they looked beautiful. We visited a great farm shop 5minutes away Ullacombe Farm shop with a cafe, animals and a play area for the kids. What a stunning cottage in the most idyllic setting! Perfectly equipped. So easy to walk to Dart haven for parking and ideal to just pop over the water. Coast walks are superb, Kingswear is a gem. Thank you

Great place. Comfortable flat. Lovely weekend away.

The accommodation was excellent. The furniture was very comfortable. It had all the equipment and more including dishwasher, washer/drier and even a jacuzzi in the ensuite bathroom. Very clean and items were easy to operate. We enjoyed the privacy of the 3 levels but this could be a problem with seniors who may find the stairs a challenge. The location was perfect for us, by the sea and next to Slapton Ley which is a nature reserve. However getting to and fro from the apartment to nearby towns requires travelling on minor some narrow, bumpy roads but it is manageable. I suspect this could be a challenge during peak periods when cars have to give way to each other. The host was very responsive to our requests. Definitely will visit again next year. We had a great stay at Jeff’s place. It’s in a lovely part of town, very near the train station and centre. Beautiful, leafy views from the room window and the bed is very comfortable. Jeff is very friendly and went out of his way to help us with various things. We were able to leave our luggage in a secure place after checking out, which was brilliant. Can thoroughly recommend!

lovely small comfortable studio apartment, had everything I needed for my stay, kitchen, shower and good size bedroom, I slept extremely well. Has the added bonus of a parking space. Jane is a lovely host and easy to contact. It was a home from home and in a great location for shops and exploring Devon. I certainly will be back. would highly recommend. 😊

Beautiful flat ideally situated on Torquay cliffs - which means a fun 5-minute hike up and down the paths for the beach. The flat is decorated with nautical theme and is super comfortable, quiet, peaceful. We had everything we needed from soaps and dishwasher tabs to towels and gowns. Would stay here again.

Lovely stay, very friendly and welcoming host. Caravan was clean with lots of little extras you wouldn't normally get, such as spare toiletries, some food and games. Really handy if you forget something. Overall a lovely stay

We stayed here whilst doing a Uni visit and only wished we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. A perfect, relaxing setting. Particularly, sitting on the decking by the lake. We took our dog who also loved all the grassy areas. A lovely treat was watching from the window the rabbits & goats playing. Highly recommend!

A lovely week’s stay in this gorgeous cottage. Very remote- you need a car Recommend Pub up the road for fish and chips Southern Devon railway and ferry to Dartmouth Hiring a boat in Salcombe for of an hour Billy can for takeaway coffee North and South beaches

Hosts were super easy to communicate with and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great accommodation, had everything you could possibly need with some lovely extra touches as well

Sarah's place was a perfect fit for us - A nice farm experience in the heart of Devon, close to beaches (25 mins drive), nice shop near by for essentials and a beautifully built & maintained place. We came to Devon to help our daughter have her trial classes and Sarah's place has had us fall in love with Devon and the area. The heated indoor pool was a hit with our family. A nice place surely worth a visit. The wifi is blazingly fast & I was able to do my days of "WFM" easily. Point to note is that there was no telephone signal at home, this can be trouble for folks who expect to be connected to the world using phone.

Great location that makes you feel in the heart of the countryside. The beach is only a few minutes drive and larger towns around 20 mins. The accommodation is perfect for our kids - they were off exploring with Nick’s children and we hardly saw them! Even on a rainy day the kids were outside in one of the many different areas onsite. Nick was really friendly and made it feel such a relaxing holiday. Always happy to help and chat. Felt more than just a place to say. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Karen’s cottage. The location is perfect with lovely walks on your doorstop, excellent pub just along the road and generally great for exploring east Devon. It’s a cosy cottage. Wood burner heats the lounge quickly and our dog loved the heated floor in the kitchen. We loved the hot chocolate station! Highly recommended and look forward to returning.

Even before we arrived, Suzi was prompt with answering our messages. She met us and made us feel welcome when we arrived, with cream tea for two, and offering us clear instructions on how everything in our nicely renovated apartment worked. She went out of her way to help us in numerous ways during our three week stay. We got to know the area (Shobrooke/Crediton) not least because of how helpful she was. We would not hesitate to return; gone only a day and we already miss the farm fresh eggs!
