Such a peaceful, relaxing location, a few steps from the lake, the apartment was spotless, well equipped with plenty of water toys, even toys and life jackets for your pup. Sonja and Ceril were very friendly and communicative, all instructions were extremely clear. They were quick to fix a mishap with the porch door that occurred before we arrived. My husband and I and our dog had a fantastic time, and took hundreds of pictures of the gorgeous sunset! Thank you for opening your home to us!

This place was beautiful! Unfortunately our weather for late May was chilly which is uncommon, so we will be returning when the weather is much nicer!

The apartment was very sufficient for our needs and was clean. The location and people were the real magic of this place! Alex, Angie, and the staff, especially Jen, Bob and Amanda are some of the friendliest and coolest people you will ever meet. We made some forever friends here. It was our first time to the area so having the restaurant and bar, where you get 25% off, and meeting all sorts of interesting people as well as the fabulous staff allowed us to have a unique and amazingly fun experience! Thanks to the highly social atmosphere we found out the best places to go for hikes, waterfalls, restaurants and vineyards as well as other hidden gems that most tourists wouldn’t know about. The lake is amazing for boating, fishing and swimming and they have free Kayaks too. The food and drinks here are also delicious thanks to the smoki’n skills(ribs, brisket) of Chef Bob, & the mixology mastery of Anika! Alex and his staff went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be back! 5*

Beautiful location right on Cayuga Lake. Peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lot of information on the local area. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Peggy’s boat house is. This is my second time staying here and I have never stayed at the same ABB twice. This time I brought the kids because I wanted to share the beauty of this place and Ithaca and I knew they would love it. Sitting on the dock fishing and enjoying the views on Cayuga lake is so peaceful and relaxing. Peggy is a very welcoming host and keeps the place very tidy. There are so many things to do. Ithaca Falls is a very short drive away. Buttermilk Falls is a bit further away (not much) and is a beautiful hike. Great restaurants are nearby. I love the area and would love to come back someday.

The Silversands lake house was the perfect getaway for our family's trip to Ithaca. It was extremely spacious and our large group had absolutely no issues feeling right at home. Logan was really accommodating and flexible with our group, overall he was such a great host! We'd definitely stay here again if we're ever in Lansing.

We booked this home after changing our trip dates and losing the original house we rented. Boy, was it worth it!! The home is Beautiful! The views, natural light, huge master bathroom, and the most comfortable couch were just some of our favorite things. One of the bedrooms had kids' books and toys, and it was perfect for our 4-year-old daughter. The owners' communication with us was at its best! We look forward to returning next year!

Myself and two friends had an amazing stay here. The house itself is clean, cozy, and updated. The outdoor area feels private, with a quiet view of the lake and convenient put-in for kayaks. A few of the neighboring homes appear somewhat neglected, so there is some overgrowth, but this is a fine trade-off for the solitude! It also gives the place a woodsy, calming feel. The location is perfect for visiting Cornell and exploring Ithaca's many waterfalls. It was a privilege to stay here and take in the scenery, and if you're considering a trip to Ithaca, I highly recommend booking Dominic's place.

Can’t say enough about First Light II - the place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! And the view! Mario and Sarah Jeannie were wonderful hosts - great communication and so thoughtful, bringing over a bottle of wine and meeting to show us all the available outdoor equipment. If you are ever in Ithaca, I would definitely stay here! It was perfect for us for our daughter’s graduation!

Overall we had a great stay! Beautiful views, right on the lake. The house is very close to downtown Ithaca while still being on the lake - best of both worlds. Worked perfectly for our needs. It came with kids toys, board games, and bunk beds. It’s on city water which is a bonus when staying on the lake. Everything was great and we’d love to stay here again next time we’re in town!
