The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30 min to Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. My place is good for nature-loving couples, hikers, cyclists, skiers, non-smokers, vegetarians, "healthy" and convalescent people, but not for smokers, animals, and the searing of meat is also not desired.

Our accommodation is very quiet on a small stream at the edge of the forest. 20 meters away is a wonderful cross-country ski trail. A hiking trail (Lebküchlerweg) leads directly past the house to the waterfalls. Approx. 1 km. Ideal for relaxing and forgetting about everyday life. For motorcycles or bicycles, you are welcome to use the garage. Another person can come on request.

Silva Nigra Chalet for 4 at the pond

The Hierholzer pond is a habitat for dragonflies, aquatic insects, a spawning ground for numerous frogs and a summer meeting place for locals and their guests. The chalet/wooden house with large roof overhang, conservatory and balcony facing the pond provides 65 m² in 3.5 rooms. The property with 1000 m² west slope is sun-drenched. To the south there is an alpine view.

The holiday apartment is modernly furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thanks to its location, it's pleasantly cool in summer, while a fireplace provides cozy warmth in winter.
