Cottage vacation rentals in Tillamook County

This is what a beach cottage should be! Easy walk to the beach that was not crowded at all, but it was early and cool. We spent a lot of time in the house and thoroughly enjoyed it! A very well appointed kitchen and would be a great place for a family. The bedrooms are good sized and the king bed upstairs is very comfortable…didn’t try the others. Nice fenced backyard for the dog, wish I could have tried the hot tub. A nice little town that is less touristy than most others yet still things to do. Will definitely stay here again.

This place is magical! It’s on the edge of the forest and a few blocks to ocean. After a morning soak in the awesome hot tub on deck we walked in to the forest. It was awe inspiring under the huge canopy of trees. I felt so connected to Mother Nature at that moment. The home was spotlessly clean on arrival with a number of beds and enough space for a large family. Very comfortable and well stocked, even had a pet basket, we felt right at home. Wished we could have stayed longer and are already making plans to come back this summer. Kylee was very accommodating, we booked last minute and she extended us a late checkout so we could have a lazy morning and enjoy the place. 100% recommend this place!

This was the perfect beach house stay, just minutes from the ocean! The house was very clean and well stocked - we felt like we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would definitely come back again!

Comfortable little place

The place is exactly as advertised -- a funky bar with a kitchen and some beds. Pool, air hockey, and video games were all fantastic. It was a fun way to spend a few days.

Beautiful view, clean with plenty of things to do. Very clear directions to the home. Responded quickly to messages. We look forward to returning in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Stevie’s spot while traveling along the OR coast! This little beach cottage is a bit older and full of the PERFECT kind of charm- we loved it! It felt like a home- not a rental, which we really value! We got lucky with it being a bit of a slower season and therefore other cottage rentals around less busy, but it could be a tad busier at other times and a bit more restrictive with pets, etc. Overall this spot is such a treat! And Stevie is great, and incredibly helpful! She kindly allowed me to have medical supplies delivered on our check-in day, and was kind enough to offer to try to help make sure it was all set. We hope to come back!! You’re lucky if you can snag this spot!!

The house was absolutely lovely! Clean and had everything we needed. The street traffic is a little noisy throughout the night and there isn’t an ocean view. But it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can still hear the waves from the house. The host is also fantastic! She made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!

This sweet spot was perfect for a brief coastal stay with my aging parents. The accessibility features—especially at the entrance and in the bathroom—made everything more comfortable and low-stress, which we really appreciated. The garage made an excellent staging area for laundry and paddle boards, and the location is ideal: quiet and tucked away, but equidistant to both Manzanita and Nehalem. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed—cozy without being overdone, organized without being persnickety—and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals with ease. We were also traveling with our puppy-in-training for Guide Dogs for the Blind and found it to be very dog-friendly—much appreciated! When an unexpected leak cropped up from a newly installed dishwasher, the host responded quickly and kindly, resolving it within two hours and without disrupting our stay. We’d gladly stay here again—it’s a wonderful home base for exploring the coast.

The cottage is not only aesthetically pleasing but also well-organized and impeccably clean, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail truly shines through in every aspect of the property. I also want to commend Janel for being an exceptional host. Her responsiveness and helpfulness from the booking process until our departure did not go unnoticed. The recommendations she provided on local activities and places to visit added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. The ease of access to the cottage and the self check-in process further streamlined our experience, allowing us to settle in quickly and make the most of our time there.

Cute little place! Has lots of fun stuff to do around. There is no TV. But the fire pit made up for it.

This place was super cute and an easy walk to the beach. We loved the deck and yard which were so peaceful. The house was charming and cozy. Manzanita has a ton of cute places to eat and the Friday farmer’s market was a treat.

The cottage was beautiful and close enough to the beach that it was only a short walk. The area is very quiet, and makes for a great setting to sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery and sounds of the ocean. This was easily one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in my travels and definitely plan on returning in the future. Tillamook is only about 10 minutes away, so convenience is still pretty close by.

We absolutely loved this cottage! A perfect location close enough to the ocean you could hear it but tucked away out of the wind overlooking an estuary. The kids loved hearing all the frogs at night. The cottage was even better than the pictures cute, cozy ocean cottage vibe and plenty of room. It was everything we hoped for and more!

Well that was fun! This place has a great energy if you know what I mean. A lot of care went into the space and set up. The kitchen has all kinds of spices and cooking utensils. The fire pit area is very nice. The whole area was great in my opinion. The layout is nice for the house and the bathroom is very spacious. There is a lot of fun decor around to view. The instructions in the house were very helpful. WiFi instructions with QR code, TV remotes and how to with easy to follow instructions. We took some pictures to use for our own rentals. There are a lot of extra items like a beach tent, rain ponchos, fire starter for the fire pit and a BBQ available. Not much more you could ask for.

I have to say this cute little bungalow serve me well! The veiw from the deck was amazing! I could see the Oceanside beach, the rocks and then down towards Netart! Great location! Luckily the weather was great and I was able to open the door utilizing the screen and listen to the ocean day & night! When I got cool I had a little stove that warmed the place right up! Nate seems to stock lots of extra little things and that was nice if you forget something!!! The bed was extremely comfy and I slept very well!. If I come to Oceanside again I will check in to see if the Heart on the Hill is available…Nate was a wonderful and helpful host!

My partner and I enjoyed a beautifully relaxing anniversary here at this charming house by the beach. We loved the character of the design like the pirate decor and ocean themes throughout the home. Everything felt very comfy and cozy!

The hous is so clean, very cozy, easy to find and the host is super nice. If you are looking for a place to watch the beautiful sunset by the beach, this is it!!. Only few minutes walk to the beach. I will be happy to recommend this place to my friends and families.

We had an amazing stay at Harry’s Cabin. What a gem of a location. The hills, valleys and forest were so beautiful. We hiked all the trails and saw wild turkeys and elk along the way. We appreciated the trail map at the cabin. It was so nice to see stars at night. Very peaceful. The location is perfect for sightseeing in and around the McMinnville area. We would definitely stay here again!

Very cute and cozy! Arcade game was a throwback. Very neat and organized! Very short walk to the beach! Will choose this place again when planning a trip to the area!
