Tillamook Forest Cottage Retreat (25 Min To Coast)

Relax at Porcupine Cottage. 600 sq foot cottage on the Trask River 15 miles from town. 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, (1 queen bed in bedroom, and a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave, griddle, countertop mini oven and dbl hotplate. Access to the river is across our meadow and down a steep trail. Starlink internet/Wifi/cell phone calling. No AC but nights are cool year round. We live in the barn house on the property next to cottage. STVR#851-17-000020

Our surf style cabin may be small, but the large windows with views of the bay, ocean and coastal forests allow for lots of light to flood the space. Just a short walk to the beach, shops and near some of Northern Oregon’s best surf breaks. Enjoy foggy mornings in the hot tub, adventure during the day and spend sunsets by the fire pit or on our large deck. The Cape is a well designed space with an analog vibe. Relax on the deck, get cozy by the fire or watch the waves roll in. The beach, a mix of sand and stone with so much to explore, is just a short walk. There are tide pools to explore and great nearby hikes. Cabin is nestled among the trees on the quaint Pearl Street in the small community of Netarts. Outdoor covered deck and lower lawn area perfect for family time. Private stairway to beach below with fire pit. Few minutes walk down the road to local restaurant/bars/stores. Bay watching home!

You’re just a short walk down the stairs to the bay, or you can relax in the beach chairs out front. Guests love the cottage feel and being able to watch the pelicans and herons or catch a beautiful sunset. It is one of two units with a common wall specially sound proofed for complete privacy.
