Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Thun

I consider myself lucky to have discovered this quiet oasis in the vineyards of Vallamand. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them and left enough privacy, even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for rest as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery and enjoy the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The garden seating area is like another world, the furnishings are simple, but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time, because I feel reborn after the stay. Thank you so much Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

The greenhouse was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Perfect accommodation for an idyllic location. The hot tub was incredible.

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was beautiful and quiet, just a few minutes walk to the lake. It was easy to drive to interlaken and surrounding areas with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again!

it was a quick one. ight stop which worked out great for us. wonderful views from the deck which is where we spent our evening, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Simone's chalet, we enjoyed the quiet and very peaceful environment. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the cottage. Simone is a very responsive and friendly host. We recommend this cottage which is very well located and allows you to visit several surrounding cities.

It was a really beautiful house. Very close to Interlaken Ost train station, Coop super market and restaurants. It's in the quiet and charming part of the town. The outside sitting area in the backyard was my favourite. The hosts are very thoughtful. The place had everything one can need during the stay. It was a perfect stay. Will surely want to return.

A++++ for Marleen and her neighbors who were super warm. The place was even better than we hoped. 20 min from Bern and 30 min from Thun by car. Very nice quiet area and beautiful landscape. Our host was attentive to each of our requests. We would definitely stay at this place again.

Peter & Eveline are very friendly and welcoming hosts, super responsive and attentive. Their place is a perfect getaway: comfortable, fully functional, and idyllic. It offers spectacular views of the lake and mountains that we enjoyed from the spacious balcony. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen fully equipped and airy living room. Public transport in the area is excellent, which was especially helpful for us as we didn’t have a car. The shops and restuarants are within walking distance and. are of good quality too. We truly had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend their place to anyone visiting this wonderful place! We will be coming back!

Amazing! This location is truly unique and deserves all five stars and then some. The view is phenomenal. The house is beautifully constructed and restored. So many thoughtful details in decor and lighting. Every window has a gorgeous view. The nights are very quiet and peaceful. We slept so well here. And you are close to many attractions. We enjoyed the Schilthorn, Weissebach Falls, Brienz and took a train to Luzern. Train station was a 3 minute walk away. Jos is a thoughtful and gracious host. We would love to come back for another visit.

We loved staying at Denise’s beautiful home. The home itself and the surroundings were gorgeous. You can see the lake from the porch and mountains in every direction. Denise was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She helped us order dinner and gave us nice advice. Its very easy to get to the towns around the lake and we definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at Karin's for four nights and can’t thank her enough for making our time in Switzerland so enjoyable. The house is located in the quiet, peaceful village of Ruetigen, where you can wake up to spectacular views and the tranquil sounds of cowbells. During our stay, we visited several popular tourist destinations all just 25 to 40 minutes away, which was incredibly convenient. The house itself is extremely spacious. There were only two of us (plus our two Yorkies), so we felt very lucky to have all that space to ourselves. And the sauna - After days of driving from Scotland, we were exhausted, and discovering that Karin's house had a sauna was the best surprise. Karin went above and beyond to prepare everything for us. I also want to mention the Panorama Card she provided - it was amazing! We used it to visit Harder Kulm and got 15% off, which was a great bonus. It’s only been a day since we left, and I already miss it. Without a doubt, we’ll be back at Karin’s place again. 👍

We loved the apartment. Dora & Edgar were so kind, meeting all our needs; very responsive hosts. We really enjoyed walking around the village and discovering the small shops and grocery stores nearby. Thanks again to both of you.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our holiday on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, it has everything you need - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully located towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof in the back protects you from the sounds of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with baker, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will be happy to come back ourselves.

Perfect place for my stay close to the Klinik, nice quiet place in the nature, super easy access with the car, covered parking just in front of the door ( so easy!!). Easy check in and out, all amenities in the house, super well interior decorated ( must have been an interior designer;)) spotless and clean, I had one of my best stays ever of any BnB! This was the most perfect and peaceful top floor condo in Lauterbrunnen. Amazing views all around in a charming quiet location. Really awesome stay with my husband and son. We returned home from long adventures all over Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Interlaken to enjoy the waterfalls and mountains from every window. Best Airbnb rental ever! ❤️🇨🇭❤️🇨🇭❤️🇨🇭

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We had a very cozy and peaceful stay at Ursula’s farmhouse. It is located on a beautiful hillside with amazing views. The washing machine was helpful and the cat was very affectionate! Would love to come back someday.

Heidi’s place was amazing. Beautiful views, comfortable beds & she was thoughtful and left toys for our baby. She was a great host! Very safe and amazing area to stay in. We spent every night and morning on the beautiful balcony.

On our round trip through Switzerland, the most beautiful accommodation with breathtaking views. The apartment is super clean and cozy and offers everything you need. From the accommodation, there are many excursion destinations that were easy to reach by car. We felt very comfortable and would be very happy to come back.
