Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Thika

Marine was friendly, responsive and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night but still had no problem with her instructions or getting into the house. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable and the garden was stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend staying there for families and groups who want to be that side of town.

The place was nice and accurate to photo even better. Had a smooth stay and the host is very friendly and accomodative. Needs an improvement on the cleanliness a bit but still a 10/10

We traveled to Nairobi for 2 weeks to be close to our son's family, who live nearby. Specioza's place was as described, very secluded and private, with beautiful grounds, and all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. Specioza and Peter (the groundskeeper) were very responsive, and flexible with our booking. However, guests should be aware that you absolutely need to have your own vehicle to access this property, and in rainy weather, you would need AWD. We typically get around via Uber, and often order grocery and restaurant deliveries, but none of these options were available to us, due to the long dirt road leading to the remote property. Fortunately, we were able to borrow an AWD vehicle from our son, which made our stay workable and pleasant. We would highly recommend this property if you like a very quiet and secluded setting, and have your own vehicle. We would definitely consider this property again for future visits.

Rod & Taz have created an incredibly peaceful space in a bustling city. The house is tastefully decorated, but comfortable to spend time in, especially because the internet setup is fantastic (could operate several devises easily). House is in a great location, near major roads and byways, so easily accessible by both Nairobi airports (JKIA and Wilson), close to Nairobi City Center and several other Nairobi neighborhoods including Karen and Kilimani. The entrance to the National Park is blocks away, good place for a peace nature walk, if needed. Highly recommend!!

The greatest host of all time!!

Great place great art beautiful grounds. But the highlight is the host Derida who always makes the stay wonderful. She is a great cook and accommodated all our needs.

I can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Danielle & Jordan where incredibly welcoming and responsive, check-in was a breeze, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was perfect, but still peaceful and relaxing. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved spending time on the patio,backyard in the evenings. Honestly, it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Yvonne's apartment is in a very safe part of the city. The complex is surrounded by beautiful views, and the apartment itself was well stocked, and cleaned for us.

The location is perfect. Clean place. We loved Nairobi and are looking forward coming back.

Mitchell was a great host who provided clear instructions. Mitchell was very responsive and the apartment was just as described. Centrally located, clean, safe, 24 hour security on site, an easy access to other amenities. I will be back.

The unit was exceptionally spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully furnished. It was clean, and the staff were truly remarkable. Maureen was highly responsive and extremely helpful. The rooftop, gym, and pool were very convenient and well-maintained. I will definitely stay at Zuri unit again.

From the very beginning, Virginia was incredibly kind and helpful. She was very responsiv. Her flexibility made my stay even more enjoyable. The location was easy to find, and the property matched the pictures perfectly. It was clean and spacious, making it great for families. Additionally, there is a restaurant nearby. We loved our stay! It was a family trip, 2 adults, 2 kids. The house is beautiful and the staff are even better. We were well taken care of from delicious breakfasts to coordination of local activities. They coordinated most of our rides, but Uber is easy use. Uber Eats so also an option if you don’t want to go out. The UN and Village Market are close with restaurants, local shopping, and fun activities. At the house, the kids played in the pool almost everyday with a beautiful banana tree providing the ambience, truly peaceful and idyllic! We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you! We miss you already!

Bonsai Villa felt like home the moment I stepped in! Duncan is a fantastic host and all the staff are heartily welcoming, very warm, friendly and ready to help you with anything at all times: show you around their beautiful gardens, send you updates about interesting events, show you safest and cheapest ways to get around, recipes of Kenyan dishes ... The villa is located in one of the most beautiful and safest neighborhoods, surrounded by beautiful and gigantic vegetation, right next to Karura Forest. The terraces & gardens are full of beautiful tress, flowers, shrubs, & herbs carefully tended to by the staff, making the ambience very peaceful and pleasant. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest at all times of the day. If you are a foodie or traveling alone, you will absolutely love the huge common kitchen on the ground flower where you can socialize with the other guests, staff and cook. I call this house a home; I will always stay at Bonsai Villa when in Nairobi!

Wonderful place in the hearth of Nairobi, which feels like you are in the middle of the forest.

We stayed a Philip’s place which was absolutely beautiful and we had a great few days in Nairobi. From the start, communication was very smooth and Philip was helpful in guiding us coming from the airport to the house. What a peaceful and relaxing place to arrive after a long flight! He also had great local tips to explore the city. The garden is colorful and serene with many beautiful birds around. The location is within the city’s vibrant areas which makes it very easy to visit restaurants, supermarkets and even Nairobi national park is only 20 minutes away! We also did a tour in the Central Business District, which can be quite hectic and overwhelming. It is really nice to be able to come back to the tranquil garden for a break during the hot periods of the day. The rooms are very spacious and all the facilities needed are available in the house, which has a stylish and colorful interior. Great value for your money, would highly recommend to others!
