Private Villa Cleo with Private Pool

MousumiRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The house is very recently built, well equipped and in beautiful condition. Set in the forest, the property has a great location - close to a number of local beaches and restaurants on foot, but also close to the road into Watamu centre. Patrick and Jacky were very responsive to any requests, and we really appreciate the good communications over the week we spent there. They have put together a really useful list of local suppliers for everything from meals to massages which was hugely helpful too.

Salama House - your peaceful, poolside retreat

ShailaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
There’s few places I’ve visited that felt like home. I felt that Hamish and Lindsay put time and effort in ensuring their guests were super comfortable and had everything they needed to enjoy their holiday in Watamu. They provided snorkelling gear, mozzie spray, sunscreen and lots of interesting board games to play. Not to mention my fave Ottolenghi recipe book for some inspo. We really appreciated their well stocked kitchen and library. The house is perfect with several places to meditate and take in the sounds of the ocean. Nora and Arnold are excellent and lovely people who really added to the charm of the place. My 1yr old son loved the kitty’s and all the monkeys, Guinea fowl and monarch butterflies everywhere. When I come to Watamu next, it’ll be to stay at Hamish place.

ANITA & SOFIA'S HOUSE charming private pool

LaureRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Frederica’s house in Watamu! From the moment we booked, Frederica was incredibly kind and proactive. She stayed in touch throughout the trip planning process, gave us transport recommendations, suggesting great activities and restaurants, and kindly accommodating an early check-in for our arrival. The house itself is absolutely stunning. We were blown away by the thoughtful design, both indoors and out. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and the lush nature surrounding the property made it feel like a true getaway. A special mention also goes to Rachid, the chef Frederica works with! He kept us well-fed and happy throughout our stay, making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Watamu!

Jane’s place is a dream! It was so beautiful and serene. There great service from Samuel and Lillian who are around to help with keeping the place clean. Patch by the Ocean, a 2 bed beach front apartment

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Susan’s place is a true gem. The beds were comfortable, always hot water and power, well equipped kitchen and a gorgeous pool and patio. Even niceties I dint expect like security cameras, house cleaning and a quality washing machine. You have all you need to live there autonomously. Next door is a great pizza place w vegan pizza and cocktails! Notes for families: the beach that is directly outside of Susan’s compound is not family friendly nor good for swimming (trash and khat chewers). But the cleaner swim able beach is just a 8 min Tuk Tuk ride away. Worth the distance to have such a gorgeous condo! The pool was shallow enough for my 5 yo to stand w her head above water but a short child or a younger child couldn’t stand. There is no “kiddie pool”

Elias and the team were very helpful. Food was amazing. Would wholeheartedly recommend Ibambe to anyone!

Private Indian Ocean Beachside Villa Sleeps 8

Lovely stay. House is a walk to the beach (not beachfront - Airbnb seems to sort these homes incorrectly when you search) but the house staff are absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to make our stay beautiful.
