Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

Perfect for 2–3 people in a charming old farmhouse, about 10 minutes to the A9 and 25 minutes to the Nuremberg trade fair grounds. Welcome to the heart of Franconian lakes! Our cozy apartment on the 2nd floor offers you the ideal retreat for relaxing days surrounded by nature. Only about 20 km away is the beautiful Brombachsee. The Franconian metropolis of Nuremberg can also be reached by car in about 45 minutes. We are an animal-loving family and shared our home with four-legged friends. We therefore ask for your understanding if a dog hair should get lost despite careful cleaning.
