Really great value for money; big and spacious enough for four, with 2 comfortable double beds, and Lynn even supplied us with breakfast things! The little courtyard was so lovely to sit outside.

My partner and I were visiting family in a nearby village so Kennel Farm was perfect for a short stay. It was easy to find and there is ample parking with goats, chickens and sheep welcoming you through the gate! The Hay Store has a kitchen with everything you need and a living space with small sofa and TV. the bedroom and bathroom are small, which is fine for a short stay but there is little to no storage space (not even somewhere to place a toothbrush) but this didn't provide much bother. The bedding and towels were clean, although the towels are small so I would bare this in mind and bring my own next time. The accomodation is clean, but not squeakily so and there are some areas which appear tired with chipped paint and a mouldy bathroom skirting board caused by the shower. Some thought has clearly gone in to lighting and it's nice to have the option of small cosy lights rather than the 'big' light. Put simply, it's a convenient cosy little place and we would happily book again

Such a lovely couple. Really made us feel welcome. Beautiful home and place where we stayed, especially for our son who is 2. He got to feed the animals most mornings (carrots and rich tea biscuits) you can sit outside with a cup of tea on a swing seat and watch the animals which were so funny at times. Our home was a lovely little place. On the smaller side but we didn't need a big place to stay. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and it was a lovely area to explore. Some very good footpaths and interesting places to visit. The barn was pretty with character overlooking a beautiful garden. A comfortable and well equipped property. Annabel was very welcoming and helpful to make our stay comfortable.

Liz was the perfect host. So friendly and communication was first class. The barn was in beautiful surroundings close, quiet and close to all amenities, in the heart of the New Forest. Extras such as bread, butter, cereals, cookies, milk were an added bonus. It was a pleasure to stay and will certainly stay again when in the area.

From booking, right through to leaving the property was straightforward, accurately advertised and backed up by support and advice as needed. A beautiful property in a stunning location where attention to detail and fabulous finishing touches have been added.

We stayed at Paul’s lovely property for the second time as we loved it so much the first time round. Our recent stay was made even better by the addition of a hot tub , the ping pong table and loads of board games and activities. The bedrooms were clean and comfy like before and we loved the living and dining space. Our 3 kids had an amazing time running around in the garden and going for little walks around the grounds. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and we loved having freshly popped popcorn for our movie evenings at the house! The property is close to Millets Farm Centre which was great for the kids as there’s always a lot to do there!

Excellent accommodation and location, we had a very pleasant stay. Hosts were very friendly and approachable, Chestnut Barn was very well layout, charming and homely. The bottle of wine, Bath Soft Cheese, and the breakfast Crossants were lovely and greatly appreciated. We visited Bath, Bristol and went to the Bath soft cheese farm for lunch. All very enjoyable, and well worth seeing, met up with family at local pub, and had an excellent stay. We look forward to visiting again. Many thanks Colin and Julie xx

My wife and I stayed here for a portion of an overall longer trip. This was by far our favorite stay. A beautiful place just as described, with easy access to the surrounding community. We will be back if we get the chance.

Carthorse Barn is just simply stunning ! So spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt right at home . The day we arrived weather was not the greatest so having a wood stove was blissful. The cottage is very spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay , kitchen is fully equipped, downstairs toilet a welcomed bonus. Upstairs both bedrooms are immaculate, spacious and have very comfy beds . I loved the window bench in the kids bedroom, such a wonderful nook to relax. The main bedroom has the biggest and comfiest bed I have ever seen , such a beautiful wooden headboard too. I loved the free standing bath. The farm is also lovely and we enjoyed going to see the pigs and walking round the lakes.

Charming well equipped little place in a great location- easy access to Corfe and the Purbeck coast. Great hiking and loads of pubs nearby. Lisa and Keith were very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Good price. Recommended.

Our 3rd time at the Old Stables. Great location, great home and great hosts! Already booked back in for our 4th visit. Would highly recommend this property, over any others in the area, a beautiful peaceful outlook and a warm and comfortable home. Thanks Gillian & Martin

Thank you for a lovely stay at the barn, spacious for us and our dog but it also had a really cosy feel to it. It has everything you would need, fully equipped kitchen, nice sofa’s and large TV with sky TV for those chilled out evenings. Lovely comfy bed and a big powerful shower. Great location for Oxford and Cotswolds. Good communication with Mel who is a great host. Thank you again 😊.

Returning guests. We loved Ugochi’s place so much the first time it was a no brainer to return for a second time. Beautiful accommodation. Lots to do with our two grandchildren as you are within easy reach of many places. Will definitely go back again in the very near future.

We had a wonderful bank holiday weekend at Gerri's place which was perfect. There are some lovely walks and pubs in the local area and it's not too far from Oxford centre and Blenheim Palace 😊

A stunning home from home. Gorgeous countryside all around and a lovely enclosed private garden. The barn is beautifully decorated, with really personal touches. Breakfast and essentials provided. Comfortable and just a total delight. Anna was helpful, responsive and courteous at all times. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We was very lucky to have thos accommodation booked for the week for work purposes. An amazing house , clean, tidy and very peaceful setting. It was a pleasure staying here. And hopefully we get to re book when working in the area again
