Beautiful house on the slopes. Amazing view from the house just like in the pictures. I thought the house looks much better than the pictures. Nicole was extremely kind but perhaps communication was a little affected by google translate but all is fixed since I had a Swiss friend. For ASEAN guests, please take note that the garbage bags are paid so usually they use 1 bag for the stay and please take note of the trash organisation instructions on the kitchen bar. - This has nothing to do the owner but a cultural difference good to note. The place is wonderful and the kids (Swiss and Asian) all loved the play area. Superb! Highly recommended.

A great, cozy apartment with everything you need to feel comfortable quickly. It is very cozy, you look into the countryside, the stream rushes. Our two teenagers were also thrilled. Fabrizio is a very warm and open host with tips and good information. From our point of view, almost an insider tip if you are looking for nature and yet want to quickly go shopping by bus or stroll through Locarno.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Simply a great place to stay for a vacation in Ticino. Brigitte personally welcomed us and showed us everything. She gave us great recommendations for the area, which we tried directly and enriched our vacation with her knowledge of Ticino. The Ticino house is very nice, practical and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful seating, especially outside, with great views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore in the distance. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances all work very well. The wine cellar also invites you to taste. We always liked to include the box with travel guides, maps and brochures in our daily planning. We also liked the location of the house. Somewhat away from major main roads, but also not too far off. Thus, the trips to the excursion destinations were very pleasant and shopping facilities were also easy and quick to reach by car

The house is beautiful and the kitchen is very well equipped for an air BnB. the garden and bbq are amazing. Roberta is a very kind host. the only downside in my opinion is the location, you have to drive up the hill to the house regardless of which valley you want to visit. nevertheless a great stay!

We had a great stay at Doris's. The apartment is super nice and quiet. The garden is enchanting. Doris gave us great tips for the area and was super friendly and warm. We recommend everyone a stay with her.

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the stay! Gandria is a picturesque, small village and despite the quiet, tranquil location, there are several restaurants and cafes where you can stop. Louise's apartment has been designed with great care and has everything you need for a few relaxing days.

We had the pleasure of spending a few unforgettable days at Katie’s beautiful apartment in Ronco sopra Ascona. The view is absolutely breathtaking – Lake Maggiore stretches out at your feet, with Ascona and the Brissago Island in full view, framed by the surrounding mountains. The long hours of sunshine on the spacious terrace were a true highlight. The apartment is nice furnished, very well maintained, and offers plenty of space with its three bedrooms – ideal for families or small groups. Everything was clean and perfectly prepared – you can tell Katie is a thoughtful and caring host. The location is peaceful, yet just a short drive from Ascona and the lake. The combination of privacy, stunning views, and comfort makes this place a real gem. We’d love to come back – thank you, Katie!

Everything was perfect!! The apartment was spacious, well furnished and so comfortable!! Kitchen was well stocked with premier utensils. The location was great to explore the waterfront and beautiful surroundings. We parked in the 30 minute lot at the head of the street to load and unload. The parking pass that he provided for us was a key benefit. We would highly recommend Stefano’s apartment and would surely stay there again.

We stayed for two nights and it was perfect. Self check-in was smooth. The spectacular view immediately took our breath away. The apartment itself has everything we need with welcome bottle of wine and chocolate. Car park is easy and daily pass is really useful. We found it difficult to park in locarno for the day. It is easier to take funicular. It is walking distance from the apartment. Manuela is also really responsive for anything needed. Thank you for the perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay as a family of four with a newborn in this charming attic apartment. Located on the third floor of a rustic chalet, the space was cozy, and the view overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking—easily one of the highlights of our stay. The apartment was well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed (and more). The espresso coffee machine—such a thoughtful touch! Convenient private parking made coming and going stress-free. since the apartment is on the third floor and accessed via stairs, packing light is a good idea—but the climb is well worth it for the view and the cozy atmosphere. Though the stairwell is technically shared with the owner who lives on the lower floors, it never felt like a shared space. We had full privacy throughout our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable retreat in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with modern comforts at hand.

Small, fine accommodation, with an open and communicative hostess, who was always easy to reach. In the evening, we enjoyed the tranquility and the beautiful view from the garden to the lake, and were delighted by the fireflies. We are happy to recommend the accommodation. Thank you dear Ruth!!

We had a very nice time at Bijou Cardada - also favored by the weather luck. The apartment was sparkling clean, well equipped, we lacked nothing. The only downside is the approximately 135 steep steps up to the Cardada and also up to the Cimetta. The lugging of our suitcases and groceries was tedious despite the energetic help of two very athletic men. If we had known that from the beginning, we would have packed differently or only taken backpacks. Next time we'd know. Good communication with the host.

Just perfect! The place was super clean, tastefully decorated and very cozy. The bed with topper was incredibly comfortable – I rarely slept so well. Everything is at ground level, barrier-free and therefore also ideally suited for people with disabilities. Especially practical: the private, protected parking space right outside the door Host was extremely friendly and helpful The great guide folder with many personal tips, some of which I did not know despite five years of vacation on Lake Como, should be highlighted. The location is quiet, but easily accessible and easy to find. All around a great place to stay with attention to detail – I will definitely come back!

Located in a fantastically beautiful location – ideal for relaxing. Andrea and Raffi were very warm, wonderfully uncomplicated and helpful, we felt welcome from the first moment. Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished, you can tell that a lot of heart is put into it. We will be happy to come back!

Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

We had very relaxing days with Katrin, who welcomed us very warmly. The apartment was very clean and the view of the lake was beautiful! You are surrounded by a beautiful green garden, where we were even allowed to use the fresh herbs. We also liked the possibility of renting the two SUPs to paddle on the lake. We will be happy to come back. 🥰

We spent 4 nights in an absolutely ideal place to rest. The setting is very quiet, with a magnificent view of the lake, perfect for disconnecting. We had a place with an outdoor kitchen, which was really nice to enjoy the environment. The room was very good, comfortable and clean. The place is also perfectly suited for a stay with a small child: there is a sandbox, a swing, some toys on site, a high chair, a crib… even board games for family evenings. The owners are lovely, with lots of small touches that make the difference: on our arrival, fresh fruit, yogurt, beer… And for those who like their peace and quiet, don't worry, we hardly saw them The only small point of improvement in my opinion would be the addition of a small pool, that would really be the cherry on top. But otherwise, everything was great, a real slice of heaven

The property is centrally located, so you can walk to everything. You can be in the center or at the Maggia or at the beginning of one of the beautiful hiking trails in 15 minutes. In the immediate vicinity (2-5 minutes) there are also several restaurants, bars and shopping. Andja welcomed us so warmly and courteously and was always helpful and available. A beautiful home to enjoy in Ticino. We lacked nothing and we'd love to come back anytime.

Our stay was perfect, exactly what we needed! The place was really clean + some really nice things I found (vs other Aibnbs): high quality pans to cook! Nespresso machine, very nice closet for all our clothes, everything we needed for kids, including dishes, and super easy to get in and out! The hosts were very communicative and answered quickly when we had questions. All-in-all, we loved it.
