In 20 minutes' drive, you are in the middle of the colorful hustle and bustle by the sea with sailors and visitors, at regattas and concerts, between cabaret and a beer on board. And then the best: relaxing in the garden, movement on hiking and cycling trails (rental bikes), trying out the Kiel Golf Club Havighorst or enjoying swimming at the lake or the white sandy beaches of the fjord.

I had planned a four-week stay… The reception was very friendly, simple and with a small instruction. Cornelis and Gisa were two wonderful hosts, who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and have everything I need… And still left a big level of privacy. The hunting lodge is small but very nice, right in the middle of an idyllic garden and not far from the horses and surrounded by pear, plum and apple trees… With a wonderful, soothing tranquility... It was just a perfect stay!
