“This was one of the best Airbnb stays we ever had! If you are looking for an authentic Japanese experience in a true fisherman’s home, this is it! Koichi and Mitchan are the most generous, amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in their lovely home. We had a wonderful evening with them around a beautifully prepared dinner with fresh seafood and great conversation (they speak very good English). Koichi is an amazing chef and treated us to the best sashimi and fish we ever had! We slept very comfortably and enjoyed the hammock and outdoor bath under the stars. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck with a view of the tiled Japanese roofs all around us and the sound of the waves in the background. They have all the cooking amenities you need in their outdoor kitchen, including a BBQ set to cook for yourself, coffee, tea etc. Inquire about the meal preparation options before you go :) the closest grocery store was about a 10 min drive away and Koichi offered to drive us to pick up beer and breakfast items. He also generously offered us a ride to the train station in Chikura the next day. All in all, staying with Koichi and Mitchan was the highlight of our trip to Chiba. Koichi’s home is on the Flower Line, so we rented bikes in Minamiboso City at the tourist information center where the Highway Bus from Tokyo dropped us off. Then we biked 45km, stopped to swim at a few beaches along the way and dropped the bikes off at the Roadside Station Chikura Seabreeze Kingdom, about 15min walk from Koichi’s place. The next day we continued our journey up the Chiba coast by train and explored the beautiful beach coves there before returning to Tokyo. If you are going to Chiba, make it an overnight and stay at Koichi’s Fisherman House, it’s definitely worth it! We biked, but it’s easily accessible by car and train and Koichi will happily pick you up!”
Buongiorno, It is Italian Japanese ZORA. I found a small villa of Tuscany in an out-of-the-way forest of Katsuura-shi, Chiba. If lunch looks up at the sky at the sound that birdsong and wind pass through the forest, the flame night when the open-air fire wavers in the voice of the insect at dusk in BGM, a star-filled sky waits for. Finally it is pleasant guests. (not a search, please open in a new tab.) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIf0ipMuRR5Drpgz51JC9xA/ Chao!
“I stayed at various houses, but this was my favorite. You can always hear the voices of birds and insects. The cottage is clean and has almost everything you need, such as kitchen utensils, so it's ideal for long stays. The bed is comfortable, and my 0-year-old daughter who was awake at home at night does not get up at all in this bed! The wood used in the fireplace has been chopped by Mr. Zora, so guests can spend a relaxing holiday from beginning to end. zora is a hospitable person who does his best to make his guests stay. It's a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where you can enjoy breakfast on the deck while watching the nature, drink coffee and watch the fire on the sofa. There are many highly transparent beaches in the surrounding area, and the mountains have trekking and hot springs, so I could enjoy Katsuura. I would also like to stay with my friends and parents.”
A small guesthouse is set apart from the main building. It is a simple set of limited hotels with a little Showa scent. From the second person, 4200 yen. Please feel free to use with friends or alone. ☆ There are dogs and cats on the premises and those who are not good at animals are disappointed, but the use is difficult. ☆ From the parking lot, walk for 2 minutes on a narrow path where cars can not pass, there are slopes and stairs. (There are three stairs twice) ☆ Because the back is a forest, I clean it with care, but I'm sorry for those who are not good at insects, but I think staying is difficult. We can pick you up at Tateyama Station. On the way, you can also go shopping. Please consult us. (Currently, pick-up is basically only pick-up. Return bus is near the bus stop, so please take a bus as much as possible. When you arrive, we will guide you to the bus stop.) A little inconvenient, but quiet environment. Please feel free to use it like a small villa. ☆ Lending barbecue equipment, 2000 yen. * Ingredients are not included in the price.
“We had a great time at Ume's place. She made us feel very welcome from the beginning as she picked us up at the train station and drove us to a supermarket to pick up some groceries for our stay. The next day we spent together and she introduced us to friends and local spots. We had a great time together and it was a perfect start to our Japan travel. The place is equipped with everything we could ask for and was very cozy. We can recommend this place and host very much, she has a lot of heart and will make sure that you feel at home. Thank you very much Ume!”
