Beachfront vacation rentals in Tapolca District

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Keszthely! The location on Nyárfa utca 29a was quiet and peaceful, yet just a short distance from the lake and town center. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and hope to return again!

We were a group of 6 friends who have been on vacation together for a few days together for 10 years. We liked the accommodation mainly because of the plenty of space as well as the great outdoor kitchen. The air conditioning in the living room was also a great advantage in the great heat. The host has been flexible with our needs and allowed us an almost perfect vacation. Thank you again to the host and we will be happy to come back!

The house and the associated property is just great! We enjoyed our time and used the amenities such as pool, large terrace with outdoor kitchen and beautiful garden. Whether with family and dog, or as a group of up to nine people, the property does justice to everyone! The view and proximity of Lake Balaton are of course also great. Also, there are lots of small local shops, all not far away. Partly within walking distance. Judit is always friendly, accommodating and attentive. We can recommend you and the house without reservation!

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

Very nice hosts. The apartment was super spacious and fully equipped. The garden had a sandpit and loads of toys for the kids which was special - other than the bbq and the lounge beds. We asked for some local recommendations which they provided which was super nice.

Accommodation on the lower floor has direct access to the terrace and to the parking lot. There is a beach with several restaurants just beyond the less frequented road. Balaton was quite warm, sometimes calm, sometimes stormy, almost like the sea :) I was there with my wife and two small children, it was private and relaxing. We took some nice car trips and otherwise played on the beach playground, swam or paddle boarded. We were there for 7 days. Next year we would like to stay longer. Tamas was helpful, quick to communicate and nothing was a problem.

The house was beautiful, clean and very well located. David helped us with everything, so we had a great stay!

The accommodation is in a beautiful place with its own beach. The house was very well equipped, everything you might need. The landlord is very nice and communicative. Special thanks for being dog-friendly, our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did! :)

Lovely house with a perfect size of pool and garden. The location is very ideal being close to the lake. Great stay I’d definitely recommend the place.

The house was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there very much. We easily parked 3 cars (be aware that the streets are narrow and the hills steep). The pool was perfect for our 5 and 7 year old girls with room for a few adults to join them, and the terrace was a great place for our whole group to eat and hang out. There are 3 nice bedrooms upstairs with skylights that caught the breeze off the lake. Even in a hot July it was comfortable to sleep without air conditioning. The layout worked well for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. The 4th bedroom downstairs would have slept two more. We easily fit 9 around the tables for meals, the kitchen was well equipped (though lacking a kettle), and the living room was comfortable. There were board games and toys for the kids. It was nice to have a bathroom and toilet on each level. And the view was spectacular. You can tell the house is well loved. Grocery store and beach 5 minute drive and 2 great wineries in walking distance.

Wonderful setting in the countryside, quiet and peaceful. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Really enjoyed the stay.

What an amazing place! Beautiful location right by the lake. 1 minute walk from two of the local beaches. The place was clean and nicely furnished. Comfy beds and the AC was a lifesaver. Great restaurants nearby. We’ll be back next year!

Extremely nice , great location, with amazing views of the lake, clean and friendly place. Nice outdoor area to hang out and super friendly host. Great for a family or a bigger group of people. Could use air conditioning. Overall I would highly recommend this place/host.

Andrea is a considerate and hospitable host. Her house, inspired by the traditional architecture of the region, is arranged with taste and art, in harmony with its garden and environment. Comfortable, welcoming and shaded, this peaceful retreat, on the edge of huge Lake Balaton, has a soul! We had a wonderful stay there. Access to the lake via the private dock makes swimming a special and exclusive experience. We recommend this place without hesitation (although the listing should perhaps mention that another house, inhabited by people of the same family (very friendly and discreet), occupies part of the land and that they take the same dock to go to the lake.)

Loved our stay, moments from a lovely beach, little food shop nearby. Plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. We were two families plus some grandparents and so the three bathrooms were all put to use as well as the baby cot and high chair!
