Thanks to Chris and his helpful team for getting us into his Villa when our previous Airbnb had to be cancelled at the last minute, due to not being what was advertised. Even though he was boarding a flight, Chris and team responded quickly and got us into his place early. Wonderful spot. Great to relax for a family of four when the beach got too hot for our little kids. Would recommend to others wishing to stay in the Tamarindo area looking for a quiet, private place close to the local attractions. Thanks, Chris! Josh and Family

This condo is in a walkable location but far enough from the center to be quiet and peaceful. The beach is super close and the water was so calm and crazy warm. We had a fantastic stay. A couple things came up during our stay that Sud and the local manager happily addressed right away. 10/10 recommend renting here.

The condo is exactly as advertised in the pictures and description! You are literally minutes from dozens of restaurants, shopping, and of course the beach/ocean! The owner and local host (Christina) were both extremely responsive and gave great recommendations for everything Tamarindo and other local areas. It was also very nice having a place that was somehow quiet/peaceful at night, yet so close to everything!

We loved our stay here! We had a private parking spot and it’s about a 5-10 minute drive into town. The AC worked great and the kitchen had basic items to assist with cooking. The washer and dryer worked great. They provide beach towels and chair to borrow which was super appreciated! The view of the balcony was beautiful and they even had some games and puzzles to play. There are two pools are the property which were great to use!

Great location! We had a golf cart to buzz around town which was fun. Pablo was wonderful in helping us check-in (he even came to meet us to help us get checked in and gave us a quick tour) Condo was perfect for the 4 of us and we had a great time!

We really enjoyed our stay. Having access to the beach club was a big bonus. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, paricularily Mario, Maria and Freddy.

My young family of five (children ages 10, 8, & 5) just spent 11 wonderful nights in Casa Pelicano. If you are looking for a peaceful & tranquil family holiday this is the spot! From morning swims & pool side coffee getting greeted by the local birds, ezpz fast access beautiful beach days, to adventures, Casa Pelicano has it all! Hazel & Kim were excellent & welcoming hosts. The care for their Casa and responsiveness to our inquires kept our holiday in pure paradise! This was my families first time vacationing in an international Airbnb. Hazel was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for groceries & transportation. The guide book in the Casa is also helpful with local fyi's & tours. There are 3 restaurants within a 8min walk. From the beach, about 35mins north (this is a children's beach play walk) there are more restaurants, Surf Dog has family friendly service. 25mins beach walk south is the water taxi to Tamarindo with many more restaurants & shops. Pura Vida!

This house is situated on a fantastic, uncrowded beach. It stretches on for long beach walks, the sand is soft, the waves are perfect for boogie boarding, and the water temperature is warm. Each day of our stay we boogied boarded for hours with maybe 15 other people in sight. In the evening there are beautiful sunsets. The outdoor space of the house is great for cooling off in the small pool or relaxing in the hammock. The house is located in a gated community inhabited by tourists, so in order to experience authentic Costa Rican restaurants or culture one must drive to a neighboring town about 15 minutes away. The house itself is as described but be aware no amenities (shampoo) are provided with the exception of small soap discs. The beach itself made our stay wonderful.

We loved it here! Within walking distance to the beach, shops and food. It was also great coming back and hanging by the pool. Mandy and Toh were friendly and communication was smooth.

The place was comfortable, had a great view of the ocean and short walk to the beach. Short walk to restaurant. Quiet peaceful beach for early morning and evening walks.

Wonderful place in Tamarindo… it is walkable to town….. but I would recommend renting a golf cart. Such a unique place….. we loved all of the different spaces to hang out, either together of if you need some alone time. Great communication with the host, beautiful decor…… all in all a wonderful place

Great location. Was walkable to everywhere but also just far enough to be quieter. Yard is beautiful and the perfect little oasis with the pool. Perfect place for families and felt like our home right away. Thanks Yira for being a great host and for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

This was just what we were looking for - Peace and quiet with a beautiful view. The condo had everything we needed and more. One of the best stocked places we've stayed in with plenty of towels, paper supplies, kitchen supplies - everything except washclothes! Bring a few if you use them like we do. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Loved having our own private pool. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time! Nice location close to the pool and beaches while still having lots of privacy. The condo had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Tamarindo.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bahia Pez Vela, Villa 10. The house is lovely and the view breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view. We really enjoyed having the beautiful black sand beach just a few steps away, as well as the pool and restaurant right next door. The restaurant on the property Soluna Beach Bistro has many delicious options and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed checking out some of the restaurants in Ocotal Beach, which is just 5 minutes away. Don't miss out on Father Rooster's. Take advantage of the the wonderful massage and facials available at the resort, which we were able to get on our patio. Also, make sure to enjoy the kayak rentals and you can also have jet ski rentals brought to the private beach. Thank you Alvin and we look forward to visiting again someday. I long to be back there already!

We had a phenomenal stay here! We had a private balcony, large airbnb and access to all the amenities (tennis, pickle ball, pool, ice plunge). We were a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. There was no noise and the AC was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

Nice house. Excellent pool and terrace area. The house is well equipped. Relatively close to Tamarindo (about 15 minutes). Very quiet private residential. Ballast street on the way to the residential complex, which in rainy times can bring complications with low cars. The only thing I didn't like is that there's a 360 camera in a corner overlooking the pool and terrace, which makes you feel like you're losing your privacy.

What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at the Ocho. Everything about our experience exceeded our expectations! Even before our arrival our hosts sent recommendations and suggestions for activities in the local area. Our transportation was also handled by our host and the driver was ready at the airport when we arrived and got us there safely! Check in and check out were quick and easy. they provide one real metal key for the bungalow, so my husband and I shared but that wasn’t an issue. The bungalow was OUTSTANDING! So beautiful, so spacious with high ceilings and comfortable bedding. Our AC worked so well and we never overheated. Everything was clean and well kept during our stay. Breakfast was included daily and was always so delicious. The staff/servers were very friendly and offered suggestions on meals each day. Overall, we loved our stay and would 100% return to stay here during our next Costa Rica vacation! Thank you Ocho staff!!!
