Welcome to Brunstad, midway between Sunnmørsalpene! The apartment is a great starting point for mountain hiking both on foot in the summer/fall and in winter/spring. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour drive) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts will find just 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.

Wonderful stay in an adventurous house! We were well received with a clean house and plenty of space in wardrobes, with prepared beds and many towels. The house is fantastic, with views of mountain peaks and glaciers. The garden is manicured and we could pick herbs, salad and berries. The house is great for two families with three floors where you can sleep in the basement and on the second floor. Everything you need is available in the house. Perfect location with trips right from the house and close to Ålesund, various activities and grocery store. The host is responsive and pleasant.

Staying in this charming house is a very remarkable experience. The views from the terrace and inside are breathtaking. The house is cozy, equipped with everything you may ever need for your stay. Check in and out is seamless. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful and private. The location is excellent to enjoy Alesund and the nearby attractions and fjords. We appreciate Novasol's help and hospitality and wish to stay in their property again.

With clear instructions we (party of 8) found our way into a spacious, modern house with a beautiful view from the living room and deck. Everything was very clean and organized which made us feel welcome guests. The location provides good access to Alesund, grocery stores, shopping mall and hikes both local and more remote. Some questions were quickly resolved by the host.

Single-family home with unique sea view.

We spent 15 days with our toddler, with a visit of my grown-up daughter during a few days. We had a rental car. The area is quiet, the terrasse is great with a great view, neighbourgs are friendly and welcoming. Good distance to Alesund accessible in 15 minutes, and access to eastern fjords and ferry very easy. We did a few hikes in the vicinity, with majestic views from the top. Geiranger and Trollstingen are both worth the day trip. Alesund is a lovely city.

Funkis residence w/ stunning view

Highly recommended! The view was simply spectacular. The house was very clean and matched the descriptions. Terje was a great host. He was available if we had any questions and was always there to help us. I would come back anytime.
