The cabin is located on Fjellsætra in beautiful Sunnmørsalpane. Here you have many nice hiking experiences in summer and winter. There is a short way to water with access to the rowboat. In the winter, the ski slopes are right outside the door, and it is a short driving distance to the Alpine resorts Sunnmørsalpene and Strandafjellet. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy nice days in the mountains all year round. If you want excursions, there is a short drive to Ålesund, Geiranger, Slogen and other popular destinations.

A sheltered outdoor area features comfortable seating arranged around a coffee table. Ambient lighting is provided by string lights overhead. A fire pit stands nearby, accompanied by a basket of firewood. The wooden deck is complemented by a green indoor plant.

In this spacious and unique place, the whole group will be comfortable. Access to large, sunny outdoor area, short distance to beach and mountain. 10 minutes to bus stop. Bus to the center of Ålesund about 30 minutes. Good fishing opportunities in the sea and in mountain lakes. An excellent starting point for many tourist attractions such as the Sunnmøre Alps, Geiranger, Trollstigen, Nordangsdalen, Alnes Lighthouse, Giske. The apartment is recently refurbished. Well equipped with dishwasher, stove, fridge, and freezer. It fits well for couples and families with children, food store 5 min away. Good for outdoor activities with short and long (mountain) trips in great nature. A perfect starting point for famous Jugend city of Ålesund, Geirangerfjord, Alnes Fyr and Trollstigen are just 1-1.5 hours drive away. Valldal climbing park is suitable for children on the way to Trollstigen. 15 km to outdoor swimming pool.

Apartment under the Sunnmøre Alps!

Welcome to Brunstad, midway between Sunnmørsalpene! The apartment is a great starting point for mountain hiking both on foot in the summer/fall and in winter/spring. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour drive) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts will find just 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.
