Here they are close to nature with a short distance to both ski tracks, ski trips and cross country tracks in the winter, and mountain hikes and swimming/fishing in the summer. The cabin can also be base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain at Runde. An excellent starting point for many tourist attractions such as the Sunnmøre Alps, Geiranger, Trollstigen, Nordangsdalen, Alnes Lighthouse, Giske. Spacious cabin with a great view, with hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski-in/ski-out) and nice groomed cross country ski tracks and light rail are just nearby. The area otherwise has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice hikes in both summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy fishing license).

Nice and simple cabin at Fantevatnet on Fjellsetra. Two bedrooms - the one has a double bed and the other a double bed and a bunk bed. Nice patio outside, right by ski slopes in winter, very short distance to alpine facilities, and otherwise very nice hiking areas in both summer and winter time. When there is snow, the road down to the cabin is not cleared. Then parking is at Nysetervegen and about 100 meters and walk down to the cabin

The pictures don't lie! I can't imagine a lovelier scene or a better place to appreciate it.This is a spacious, comfortable house above the fjord with lots of light and broad views both down and across the water. We were kept indoors for a couple of rainy days and still didn't feel cooped up. The house, at the end of the road, provides both peace and privacy. The nearby village of Saebo is small, but free of cruise ships and masses of tourists; larger communities are not distant for shopping, restaurants, and charging EVs. Per Ove could not have been a better host - I had lots of questions before we arrived, and he always answered promptly and fully. He was also ready to respond to any questions we had about the house and area while we were there. What most impressed me: he knew we were driving from Oslo and texted us while we were on the road to tell us that the usual route into Saebo (the one shown on our GPS guide) was closed, giving us the alternate route we would need to take.

I had an exceptional stay at this accommodation. The location is perfect, offering stunning views, and everything you need is conveniently close by. The house owner is incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The living room is wonderfully cozy, furnished with great taste, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The space is also very spacious and fully equipped, providing all the comfort and enjoyment you could ask for. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the home matches the photos exactly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already considering returning for another stay in the future. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and spacious home in a perfect, central location if you're planning to explore Ålesund, Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Trollstigen etc. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance and utencil you would need. The home did lack blackout curtains, which i found odd for a home in Northern Norway. Still highly recommend!

Beautiful and elegant home comfortable as you are in your home and karete was very nice and useful , close to home supermarket spar and Extra and a good bakery. The road to the island needs to cross through a slightly tired tunnel and going to Ålesund needs a ferry for a car worth approximately NK 93, I recommend this house

Very nice apartment that was perfect for our family of two adults and two children:) Clean and nice, good space and cozy! A big plus was the garden with a playroom and toys that the kids could borrow inside. The host was also quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. We all had a great time and would love to come back :-)

This was our 2nd stay at the apartment and it was every bit as good as last time. It was very comfortable and well equipped, in a good location with an amazing view. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Alesund a 3rd time.
