Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice top trips both summer and winter. Only a short drive from Strandafjellet and Sykkylven. The cabin was built in 2023 and is located in the middle of the Sunnmørsalpen mountains, with hiking and biking terrain right outside the door and the fjords a short drive away. There is a disc golf course and ball pit nearby, a gondola with a café on Strandafjellet that is open in the summer, and Geiranger, Trollstigen and Valldal are within an hour's drive. In short: a comfortable base for active summer days, whether you want to climb peaks or just slow down with a view of the mountains. And if you come in the winter, you can go straight out on skis.

Here you get close to nature with a short distance to both ski lifts, top tours and cross-country ski trails in winter, and mountain tours and swimming/fishing in summer. The cabin can also be a base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain on Runde. Great cabin in Sunnmørsalpene. The cabin is located just a few hundred meters from the ski resort and short access to several kilometers of cross-country trails with lights for an evening trip. There are also many opportunities for top trips for all skill levels. There is also the possibility to rent a 16-foot leisure boat with 40hp. This is located in Sykkylven city centre (20 min drive from the cabin). Here there are life jackets and fishing equipment if you are interested. Rental must be pre-booked a good while before.
