Cabin vacation rentals in Sykkylven Municipality

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

We had a wonderful stay at Merete and Jesper’s beautiful home. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we felt at home right away. You can really tell how much thought and care has gone into making it such a special place. This stay was a real highlight of our trip—we’d love to come back. We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It was perfect for our small group of friends. We really enjoyed the breathtaking view while preparing meals in the kitchen, grilling in the gazebo, and relaxing in the hot tub. Hanne and Ole were very hospitable and the communication was excellent before during and after our stay. We hope to all visit again soon!

We really had a wonderful time. We were visiting family in Sykkylven and we needed a second home for our big group. Sykkylven and Stranda are both easy drives. The cabin is very clean, beautifully decorated and cared for. Lidvig was a gracious host and we appreciated his communication and thoughtfulness.

A beautiful cabin with panoramic views across Fjellsaetra with a wonderful hot tub to use after skiing. We had the best week. Eirik was extremely helpful in giving us advice on local places. The cabin itself was well appointed and great for two families

Nice cabin in a fantastic location. Only thing I can comment on is that the host was a little slow to respond.

The cabin, the area and the views were absolutely amazing. The cabin was large enough to accommodate 6 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs, and the place had everything we needed. It was also a big plus that both towels and bed linen were available - it made packing much easier. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival. Communication was also very fast. We can definitely recommend this cabin!

Incredibly nice and cozy cabin with modern amenities located close to the center of Stranda, and almost 2 hours drive to Geiranger, Stryn, Ålesund and other nice places to visit. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time in the cozy cabin of Espen and Hilde. Everything was super cared for with wonderful beds, a kitchen where nothing is missing and a fantastic garden. The children enjoyed themselves with all the books and games, by the sea and in the playground with cable car and of course in the garden with swing. We had a beautiful walk at Sunnmøre open-air museum. Was very easy to walk with young children and very nice to see how the people used to live here. Supermarket is close by. Communication with Espen and Hilde went well. They are very friendly, flexible and think along. We were able to stay one extra night at the end. We definitely recommend this place!

Very nice place, nice and clean cabin with all the facilities to be able to feel at home and not least a very nice host who adapts the stay and responds quickly to messages!

Had a super weekend at this cabin, lovely to be able to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi after a day out in the snow. Large and nice cabin with lots of amenities for big and small, can highly recommend this further. The hosts were pleasant and always responded quickly. Many thanks for a great stay☺️

We are a family of six and everyone loved this place the moment we walked in. It’s cosy, spacious, beautiful with great views over the lake and surrounding mountains. Dag & Ingeborg were very friendly and helpful. For out family this was a wonderful week in a wonderful place. Highly recommended!

Very spacious and comfortable cabin. Cozy and clean. Enough space for 8 people (4 adults + 4 kids). Big and safe outdoor area, our kids loved it and spent there all afternoons. You can do barbecue outside. Easy and very good comuncation with owner. Great starting point for trips to Geirangerfjord, amazing Norangsdalen or Alesund.

Amazing vacation home, even more amazing hostess. Everything you need for a vacation, we didn't miss anything. We had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay at Sofie's lovely cabin. Her instructions were clear and helpful. The hot tub takes a while to heat up but is definitely worth it. I fully recommend staying here ! Clément.

Lovely hut and perfect spot for skitouring!

The Cabin was simply Perfect and Reidun was the Perfect Host. From the First Moment we felt Like Home and the House has really everything to spend wonderful days there. We can Absolutely reccomend to stay at this place, its perfectly located to be within Nature but also if you seek relaxing days you can do so. We rarely had a better Airbnb like Reiduns Place.
