Cottage vacation rentals in Suwannee River

Lynne’s home was perfect in every way. Every detail was thought of and accounted for. Comfiest beds I have ever stayed in on vacation. She was an incredible host. Extremely helpful and responsive. Cannot recommend enough or rate highly enough. Grateful for the opportunity to stay here.

The cabin was immaculate with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The renters were even kind enough to supply a crock pot at our request so we could enjoy the lake while the dinner cooked itself. There was an issue with the AC, which typically could ruin a weekend. Our hosts did a walk through prior to our arrival and found the problem and had if fixed before it could ever be an issue. Their communication with us was fantastic and they were a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to anyone. We have stayed at this particular campground for several years and there are some full time residents that have been very unwelcoming. This is not a reflection on our hosts. Other host in the campground have also been very wonderful.

Great place with all the added touches. Very relaxing and comfortable and quiet. We stayed just for a quick overnight and were able to walk to local brewery and also uber to a restaurant close by. Very thoughtful extras- including everything you may need. Would recommend if you are in the area.

This was definitely my family’s favorite vacation we’ve been on so far. Aside from the amazing fishing we did, the Peach house and the neighborhood that it is in kept my entire family busy. The pool was great and my boys stayed in there as much as possible, all the games at the pool were fun, my baby girl loved the goats and chickens at the petting zoo, and I enjoyed the convenience of the boat slip and the boat ramp right next door to the property. This place is also located perfectly in my opinion with it being far enough from busy area that traffic and noise isn’t an issue but your still a 5 min golf cart ride to the restraunts and stores. We cannot wait to return to the peach house and hopefully stay a little longer.

Everything about this cottage was perfect! The location had a little trail right across the street to the beach. My mom and I stayed there for Mother’s Day week and LOVED everything about it. The hot tub was perfect! And the jasmine smell so good. Tamara was amazing with recommendations and communication!

Marissa was a great host! Very responsive and welcoming! Her home was clean and so peaceful! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway!

We truly appreciated this sweet little home. It was in a central location to family members we were visiting. It was very clean, organized, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The deck overlooking the pond always had a wonderful breeze- very peaceful place to spend time. I enjoyed figuring out the layout of the neighborhood and it made for an enjoyable walk every morning. The hosts are super KIND!! From the first confirmation message, check-in instructions, and throughout our stay they were attentive and responsive. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises!! Thank YOU Larry Karen for sharing your lovely home❤️- side note: the RV community had a couple events for the residents during our stay. A karaoke music thing Friday evening and then water inflatables for the kids on Saturday— very kind for the kids especially- nice community!

Traveling with my dog is required and the cottage was a good choice because I prefer having a private backyard for my dogs bathroom breaks. The neighborhood is historical and older but I still felt safe. I prefer a more firm traditional mattress with a box spring and a lot of air bnb rentals use the memory foam mattress that are not comfortable for my back. So a longer stay on the mattress is not an option for me , and maybe only 1 or 2 nights is bearable. The kitchen was adequately supplied for our short stay. The check out process was a little more detailed than a lot of other places that I have rented because stripping the beds and folding the bedspreads was required.

Debbie and Chris were so responsive and kind even way before I checked in. Their place was awesome for my trip! Two bikes - amazing perk since you can bike the whole town easily. Also easy walking to everything or like 3-5 minute drive to downtown. Great spot for our Cumberland Island tour trip. Cottage B is fantastic with the outdoor pergolas with fans and couch, grill, and table. Well worth the price! Would recommend to any friends or family members for future endeavors.

We have a lovely stay at the blues bee cottage. Love the decoration!!! Very cozy and warming. It has everything you need and more. Looks exactly as the pictures. Very close to the light house and parks. Excellent communication with the host.

very clean with a great location on the water. There's a public boat ramp nearby for those who like boating. close to shopping restaurants etc. quiet neighborhood also!

Top Airbnb experience for us. comfortable, clean, ideally located. Doesn't feel like one of the hollow cheap fake places I've found on airbnb -- it's a real small business being run with care and attention to detail. Plenty of dishes, pans, kitchen essentials. backyard was spacious and fenced -- comfy for our dog. glad we picked this spot for our weekend trip to Jekyll Island!

Cozy, well-stocked cottage with a beautiful view and convenient to everything Cedar Key has to offer. Love the screen porch and the outdoor seating on the grounds. Perfect for two people and our dog. We cooked meals and had everything we needed. #cedarkeystrong

“Peaceful” Bernadette place is perfect to unwind. Especially if you like to fish, it’s within steps from the cottage with its own private deck that’s surrounded by big Cypress Trees that provide lots of shade while you fish or just want to kick your shoes off and relax. The cottage was super cozy and clean the perfect setup to relax from every day busyness. Will definitely come back!

This is our second stay at the Ashford we have also stayed at another one of Talia's properties as the Ashford was not available. Both the properties were superb! The location couldn't be better walking distance to everything, beautiful inside and out all you need is supplied and more. We will be back!

The home was extremely beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. The neighbors were very friendly and the property/landscaping was nice. I would definitely recommend staying there if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. The gifts and snacks that were left for us was a plus, greatly appreciated. Definitely the best hosts in Jacksonville.

This was perfect for our getaway!! It was so cute and close to everything we wanted to do!

What a great location! We wanted a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary but still be close to check out some restaurants and breweries and this house was perfect. We loved how remote and secluded we felt while there. It was beautiful and more peaceful than I expected. There wasn’t much water in the lake, which we expected since it’s been so dry this year, but we still saw plenty of birds, some deer, and a few gators. We loved having the front porch to drink our coffee on then we’d go for a morning walk down the driveway and see the horses. The barn kitty was a great, friendly, surprise. Anabel was a wonderful host and made our stay just that much better. Already dreaming of coming back whenever we need some time away to unplug and relax.

This stay was exactly what I needed. The bed was comfortable. The cottage was private, and the location was perfect for my purposes. Lovely stay .

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Kristen's place. It is clean, comfortable and quiet, and is exactly as pictured in the listing. Very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Great outdoor space and easy parking. It's in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to lots of things to do in St. Augustine. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

My stay did not go as expected and we had to leave right away. I prefer to not go into detail because I know the host will fix the problem before anyone else stays at the property. The host was extremely empathetic and responsive. The home was immaculate. Her attention to detail and desire to equip the property with anything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay was most appreciated. We only hope we get the opportunity to stay at this lovely property with this lovely host again in the future and can have a redo. This host goes above and beyond in every way and the property is absolutely to die for. I could live there for the rest of my life and I own a beautiful waterfront home. My only advice is to book a few nights longer if you are on the fence, because if you don't, you will regret it!

Loved the location being so close to where you can swim with manatees, eat good food, and at the same time enjoy a quite place. I loved sitting on the porch area in the morning and at night. The cottage is cute, smells awesome, and is very clean. Loved they had the extras like tea, shampoo, and much more. Also enjoyed the owls one night!
