Chie is very friendly and her place is in a great location—ideal for two. A more local neighborhood, not filled with tourists, so perfect if that’s what you’re looking for.

If ur looking for a place to stay at this area - Nanako, I would recommend this place. The place is very clean, best for appx 4 pax and most importantly, new & clean. It’s got a lift for my mum and a lovely quiet neighbourhood wlth great Izakaya nearby. The only confusion I had is with the listing that says it’s 6 mins to shinjuku station but that was the mistake of google translate and not the lister. It takes appx 20-30 mins by train to the heart of Shinjuku.

stayed here for 4 nights with a group of 5 people, it was great! it's in a nice area very close to 7/11 and family mart. only a few minutes to the train station. there was plenty of space for all of us and our luggage. i liked the tatami mats. only bad thing is you have to take stairs up to the third floor, which can be very tiring when taking your luggage. overall great place! would recommend :)

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious Koenji apartment! The two rooms provided plenty of space, and the dedicated rooftop access was a delightful bonus. The location is ideal, just minutes from the station, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful for a good night's rest. The neighborhood of Koenji has such a unique and charming vibe, with plenty of local shops, cafes, and restaurants to explore. It feels authentically local while still being convenient for traveling around Tokyo. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to experience the true essence of Tokyo life while having a comfortable home base.

This apartment is well located and Ikebukuro is a great base. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is spacious by Japanese and the balcony and rooftop a special bonus. Note the two single beds as we would have preferred an option.

Very nice stay!From the airport, I don't know how to turn the line. I asked the host to reply in a very timely and careful manner. When I arrived, I saw an employee beckoned to us, warmly helped us with luggage, the house is not far from the subway station, and the surrounding area is quiet, but the convenience store is very complete and feels safe. Both of us girls play very late for two days. There are also off-workers on the way. The house is really new, super clean and hygienic, and it is also very carefully prepared for disposable items and toothbrush paste, etc. The amount of water temperature for bathing is very suitable, the body wash and body wash provided is also a very good use of fragrance!The bed is also good to sleep well, we are almost atrocious on both days in Tokyo, and it is really important to have a clean and comfortable room ~ It is very important to remember the good memories of Tokyo in the future will be reminiscent of the comfort of the B&B and the warmth of the host ~ Best regards😄

The apartment is beautifully and practically furnished. The open floor plan is ideal for families, as everyone feels like they're all in one room. The beds are comfortable. The location is quite good, as it's only two stops to Shinjuku on the express train. Everything was great. We'll be back next time we're in Japan.

I love this place! It felt like a home 😊 every item in the house was so thoughtfully placed to make our stay more comfortable. There is good sunlight and ventilation and enough space to use the desk and watch tv. The house is very close to the marunouchi line station. Lots of cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. You can walk to Koenji and Asagaya. Two of my favourite neighbourhoods in Tokyo. The hosts are very kind and responsive. I will always stay here when I visit Tokyo.

Had a great stay with all amenities provided for. Instructions for the appliances were clearly laid out on info cards, and there were english labels provided on the appliances too. The dryer in the bathroom was especially useful for us. Just a short walk from Nakano Station, very accessible to popular areas. Enjoyed exploring Nakano - there were lots of good food around, was near kombinis, a cosmetic/drug store, and a supermarket. As there's a hospital nearby, there might be ambulances passing by. Could request for ear plugs or bring your own if you're a light sleeper. Would highly recommend this listing and definitely book this for future trips.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb in Iogi. The location is quiet, peaceful and in a calm neighborhood, which made our stay very relaxing. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and smooth, which we really appreciated. However, the only downside was the cleanliness. The floors were not clean when we arrived, which was a bit disappointing. Because of this we ended up buying slippers to use inside the house. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for a calm area with easy access. But we hope the cleanliness will be improved for future guests.

Absolutely loved our stay in this Suginami Airbnb! The place was super cute, surprisingly roomy, and had everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to a washer/dryer and more. One of the highlights was the huge patio…perfect for relaxing after a day out in Tokyo. The neighborhood was great too, quiet yet close to everything. The subway was a short 5 minute walk. There were plenty of food spots, grocery stores, bakeries, and konbinis just a short walk away. The hosts were incredibly nice and responsive, making everything from check-in to check-out smooth and easy. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped place in a great Tokyo neighborhood!

the apartment was comfortable, with modern and convenient appliances and fittings. we slept well on the comfortable beds with multiple air conditioning units. the location was perfect, surrounded by bars, restaurants and hip shops, but still quiet at night. our host was communicative and helpful, but there was a lot of auto-generated information to take in. it would be better if this was streamlined. otherwise, we had a nice stay

Great base for exploring Tokyo. There is lots to do and see in the area, with great transport links to the more touristy areas. The apartment is quiet, comfortable and has everything you'll need for a few days or a few weeks.

Great neighbourhood! Wonderful, cozy, and quite home for 2-3 people (max). At first it appeared too small (welcome to Japan for the first time) but within the next day we started to feel at a comfortable, cozy home. we checked in at 230am and it was flexible and comfortable. Pearl was very helpful in local recommendations and provided clear instructions for a comfortable stay. The locality is wonderful, authentic, and homely! love the train station vibes on slow afternoons. it has everything you need! Thank you Pearl for a wonderful stay 😊

Loved staying here! The beds were very comfy, and the room had all the essentials you could ever need! Mr.Masakatsu was incredibly friendly and welcoming, he carried my stuff to my room and showed me all the amenities of my room. The room itself is a 6 min walk to the train station which is super nice! I would love to be able to come back here on my next trip!

Great stay at Shigeru’s! In a quiet residential neighbourhood, but a close walk to the train that can get you to all major hubs. A nice and simple accommodation, great for a solo traveler with all basic necessities. The distance is a bit of a further commute to areas like Asakusa & Ginza, but in close proximity to other great hubs like Setagaya City. Shigeru really was the best, he accommodated a late check in, met me at the station and helped carry my heavy luggage. He also provided me with recommendations in the area and helped me so much when I was struggling to figure out how to commute to Narita Airport when I left. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Great value. It was nice to be a little out of the main tourist areas, but still have easy access to restaurants and train stations. The bed was comfy and the room was well-equipped.

Riko’s home was very charming and provided the perfect sanctuary after long days exploring Tokyo. We would always look forward to coming back to the Airbnb at the end of every day. The neighborhood can’t be beat. This was our favorite area in Tokyo and we felt so lucky to be staying right in it. The streets were quiet, peaceful but still had a young, vibrant energy. The restaurants felt authentic but were still tourist friendly and had English menus. We loved sitting and drinking a beer at a place along the river. Very close to the subway stop. Although small, the bed was big enough for me and my husband without having to use the pull out cushion. As a host, Riko was very communicative and provided great recommendations. Thanks, Riko!
