Chalet vacation rentals in Südsteiermark

It was great! The pictures don't do justice to the beautiful surroundings, but that's not possible. Bernhard is a great host and spontaneously drove us to the cabin because our friends were not yet there by car. Warning, a city car (Skoda Citygo) cannot make the climb up to the cabin! We had to spontaneously rent another car). Otherwise a very nice stay in the mountains.

A beautiful house in a quiet location, surrounded by forest and nature – an ideal place to escape from everyday life. The house is beautifully decorated, fully equipped and super clean. The yard is spacious and great for hanging out and has amenities for all ages – both children and adults. We especially enjoyed the view and quiet. Any recommendations!

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. everything was great, super weekend

We enjoyed the opportunity to take beautiful hikes directly from the house. Likewise, the proximity to nature at the edge of the forest with the unique opportunity to observe animals and stars. Since it rained a lot for once, we were glad that we could stay in the house, feel good and benefit from the view of the valley through the full-length glass front. Also suitable for leisurely bike rides along the Mur. For something more athletically ambitious, also from the house along the wine route to Slovenia. Graz, which is beautiful, is about 40 minutes away by car. Approximately 6 km from the house is a beautiful swimming lake in Gamlitz. Gabriel gave us good tips for food and drinks and proved to be a good host. Thanks again for that!

Not only the house, but the whole village offers peaceful winter wonderland. The house is equipped with all necessary amenities and it gives an instant feeling of being at home. There was not a single thing we missed.

Karin place is the best we have stayed in on our trip in Austria and Germany. The place is immaculate and very cute. The outdoor area has perfect views to enjoy with the morning coffee. The nearby towns have some interesting Roman ruins and castles. We were attending an F1 race about 115 km away but still we had great rest and great drive and great evenings locally and in Graz. Highly recommended!

A dream come true for anyone who wants to have their peace! Incredibly beautiful nature and deserted at this time of year. It was a dream, the hot tub is a real highlight! The host is great to reach by phone and leaves nothing to be desired. We would come again with our two hunves!

Very relaxing days spent in the beautiful house with pool. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you are guaranteed to feel very comfortable there.

It was an absolute dream stay in the so-called Schilcherland Chalet! After many bookings in other accommodations, we can say that this was by far our best experience. From the hospitality, to the fairytale premises, to the small, unexpected details that always put a smile on your face, everything was perfect! Baskets with fabulous breakfast from regional products, where every additional request is also fulfilled, were at the door every day at the desired time. Great views, nature, sauna, heated pool, hot tub, gym, wine bar with delicious selection... everything for private use... I can only warmly recommend the accommodation to everyone and if anyone has doubts whether it is really as beautiful as in the photos... it is even more beautiful! Dear Gert and dear Sabine, thanks again for the wonderful days :) As I said: We will definitely come back!!!

The four of us, accompanied by two dogs, spent an extremely relaxing stay in the chalet. The amenities left nothing to be desired – everything you needed was available. We were particularly impressed by the cozy fireplace, the inviting sauna and the heated outdoor pool, which made the stay a real highlight. A perfect combination of comfort and relaxation – highly recommended!

Very nice log cabin, great, nice and very quiet. Only weak point: unusable internet.

Fantastic mountain house with a beautiful view. Completely private, the entire hillside belongs to the house. The house is equipped with everything, the kitchen was well equipped, and there is also a washing machine, a dishwasher and a sauna. Communication with the owner was easy, we received all information in advance! Dog-friendly place with great hiking opportunities in the area! I can absolutely recommend it, we will definitely come back!
