The Byre is a fully equipped self catering holiday cottage with many original features. The Byre is wheelchair accessible with its own parking area. An idyllic 200 year old Bothy located in the North-East of Scotland, some say similar to the cottage from the movie "The Holiday". Situated in a quiet and secluded area of Pitmedden, known as Old Seaton Village. We can provide shuttle services to nearby popular amenities - prior notice required. Well behaved dogs are welcome but are not allowed on the furniture. Dogs must be kept on a lead within the property grounds and surrounding area and must not be left unattended in the bothy.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.
