Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Renovated with space and comfort in mind, it sits on the edge of capo woods - an ancient Scots pine forest. The main room is huge and combines the kitchen, dinning room and sitting room allowing everyone to socialise together. Beautiful views from a great vantage point on Bennachie this rustic cottage is ideally located for hillwalking, sightseeing or simply getting away from it all. Only 10 minutes drive from Inverurie and a short walk over the hill from the pitodrie house hotel which offers luxury dining and a cozy bar. There is also a riding school nearby and of course all the walking trails are on your doorstep. We are pet friendly but the garden is not enclosed.

With ample parking, our 2 bedroom bothy is comfortable and well equipped with underfloor heating and an electric wood effect fire. Just a stone throw away from the river Don and the 300 yold Poldullie bridge also central to whisky trails & castles. Two well-behaved dogs welcome by request. please note we are adults only.
