This charming, country 1926 farmhouse sits atop rolling country fields just outside the village of Maiden Rock, and just a few miles to Stockholm, Pepin, & Red Wing, Mn. This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. For larger groups we have another cottage on airbnb called the Trout Haus. Check on Airbnb or contact us regarding renting both houses.

The Main Stay on the Bluff is a spacious 3,000 sq ft home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, thoughtfully designed to accommodate a wide range of guests. The main floor is fully handicap accessible and opens to an outdoor patio with seating and a fire pit. As part of Samakya Cabins, one of two private retreats set on 65 secluded acres, the property offers incredible bluff views, peaceful surroundings, and a truly special escape immersed in nature.
