We absolutely loved This place. The Cabin was perfectly rustic while well appointed with everything we needed. The surroundings are beautiful wooded ridges and hilly farm fields. My daughter loved the small pond to practice her paddling with me. My wife loved the loft bedroom that allowed her to escape my snoring. And we all loved the ever present birds, (Eagles, hummingbirds, orioles and goldfinches to name a few standouts) We will be sfaying here for sure when we visit our family in the area again. It was PERFECT!

This was a cute little place. I needed to get away with a couple friends and my pup for a birthday celebration/mid-year vacation break, and this was the perfect space. It overlooks Lake Pepin and has a beautiful view. The one drawback was that there is a train track very near, but the owners have done a good job sound-insulating the building and even have provided ear plugs for open window sleepers. Everything was so comfortable. I walked in and there was a pail of water waiting for my pup and a cute jar of doggy treats on a shelf. They have gone the extra mile to make guests feel welcome and appreciated.

This was the second time we stayed here and everything was great once again. The Keurig died on us and Cheri replaced it quickly and even brought us iced coffee k cups for the new one! very accommodating and helpful.
