Waterfront vacation rentals in Stockholm

A clean and very nice apartment. Good beds. Bedroom towards the quiet backyard. Well insulated against traffic on the living room side. Subway station one minute walk from the apartment with good connections further around Stockholm. Perfect place for those who want to experience the city. Located just off a busy road, but you can't hear it in the apartment. And you don't intend to sit there anyway, when you have one of Europe's finest cities to experience. I have been to Stockholm 30-40 times and would love to come back to this apartment.

It was a great place for 3 of us. We were able to walk or take public transportation to most places.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Great neighborhood with easy access to shops and transit. Quiet building, with a small elevator and very light wi the a good cross breeze. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Matt was able answer questions quickly. Good internet and TVs were easy to operate.

Nice apartment very close to the train station and city center, perfect for my business trip. The host was very friendly and flexible with the check in. Will come back

I stayed here for several weeks, loved everything about the place. The bus stops right in front of the building, and makes travel to and from the downtown core very convenient and quick. The neighbourhood is incredibly safe no matter what time of day (or night), the apartment is quiet and, though small, has a lovely spacious feel. The view is fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped with modern and highend appliances. I really appreciated the excellent water pressure in the rain shower. The walking path between the street and the water was lovely, even during the winter when I visited. I even found the bed to be extremely comfortable, and that is saying a lot since I sleep on a Tempurpedic at home and have a bad back. Benjamin was a great host. I would definitely return, and think this is a jewel of a place to stay!

We had a wonderful time in Stockholm! After the daily sightseeing program, then quickly to the quiet suburb with subway and bus, good transport connection. Relaxed end of the day in a nice area by the lake. Thomas even picked us up from the train at check-in and showed us how and where the subway goes, the bus stops and shopping, explained everything superbly. The apartment was perfectly furnished with everything you need, very nice Nordic simple and functional, very spacious, bathroom with bathtub and shower. Kitchen equipped with everything. The contact with Thomas and Madeleine was very warm, never intrusive and always accommodating. We had a perfect vacation (in wonderful summer weather) and thank the two very much for their hospitality. We would come back anytime!

We stayed at Oliver's place in Sångä Säby for almost two weeks with a baby. It is a beautiful accommodation with a fantastic view over the lake to relax. With a few simple steps, the apartment was also relatively baby-proof. Oliver's family warmly welcomed us and was always helpful. The small meadow with beach was wonderful for playing (and swimming in summer). There were even some children's toys. For excursions, you were always dependent on the car. But 1 hour on foot is a cute flower center with café and restaurant, where it is worth walking. We highly recommend Oliver's Airbnb to everyone.

Jenny's house in Lidingö was truly wonderful! The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, reflecting the genuine charm of a family living there. The stunning views made our stay unforgettable, and waking up every morning to such a peaceful setting felt incredibly special. Jenny was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated all the personal touches and warmth throughout the house—it truly felt like staying with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Stockholm.

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! What a gem in the Stockholm archipelago?! My friend and I stayed at Mikael and Anna-Viktoria’s cottage for a few days, and absolutely loved it!! The cottage is quite close to Stockholm, we took a 25 min taxi from Slussen, but you could easily get there with great bus connections. The living area is stunning, with beautiful views of the lake, natural light through the day, tasteful decor, and many spots to lounge both indoors and outdoors. We spent our days chilling, bbqing, cooking, walking … the hot tub with views of the lake was a definite highlight! Mikael and Anna-Viktoria are kind and responsive hosts. We would love to be back!

Very nice house at lofty heights with fantastic views and a nice helpful host. The only downside was the temporary noise from the renovation of the streets in the village, but Ivan responded accommodatingly.

Perfect all the way. Slept 12 hours every night. Total recovery!!! The best holiday money can buy!!!

Johan and Laila's beautiful house meets all the requirements. Super spacious and nicely located on the waterfront with running trail. We had a wonderful time thanks to the very good care of the hosts. Highly recommended!

A brilliant spot approximately 30 min drive from the centre of Stockholm. Right by the water with sea views and 9min drive to the local town. Our family (kids aged 9 and 12) loved the pool and hot tub. Elin and Johan were great and the house had everything we needed. Hoping to come back soon.

We were very happy with our short stay at Adna’s. There were bakeries, coffee and grocery nearby, as well as being located very close to a subway stop. It was a convenient place to stay and the apartment blocks were peaceful and quiet.

Very sweet and helpful hosts who responded quickly to our message and any doubts. We lacked nothing in the apartment and enjoyed every morning and evening the beautiful view from the covered balcony or from the roof terrace. The apartment was nicely cleaned all over when we arrived and contained all the listed amenities. Everything worked smoothly. A really nice and clear guide to the home was provided to us. Definitely a home that gets the best recommendation from here.

We immediately felt at home at Angelica's. We are far from the impersonal Airbnb: and for good reason, Angelica rents her own apartment when she is away. The warm atmosphere with the many plants, the top equipment and the location close to the metro and 2 steps from the large parks (ideal for the Stockholm Ecotrail) made us feel comfortable: a beautiful experience in a cozy place!

We had a wonderful stay at Lina's house. It was in a perfect location close to transport in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a small issue with the washing machine on day 1 but Lina was extremely responsive and we had no problems accessing the communal laundry for the rest of our stay. Lina made us feel at home for the 6 nights we stayed and went above and beyond to help make our first visit to Stockholm one to remember. Thanks so much Lina 😀

I stayed in the apartment for 4 months. The accommodation is very well located, easy to access and very convenient.

Angelina was super friendly, recommended some lovely cafés in the area and was very flexible with our check-in and check out. The place was beautiful and very cozy. We did have a couple of loud neighbours over the weekend, which might have been due to it being Swedish National Day. All in all a great place to stay ☺️

The apartment is on the upper floor of the exposed historic building. Beautiful balcony overlooking nature. The city center is very easy to reach by bus - the nearest stop is 150 m away, from there it is six stops to the center. Vera is a good host and we would book with her again anytime.
