Vacation rentals with lake access in Stockholm

Karl’s home was beautiful! I stayed here with a group of friends during the marathon weekend. The home was spacious, light and decorated perfectly. It was very easy to get into the city, either by bus or cab, and the local shop was only a short walk away. I’d highly recommend! Thanks so much Karl

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at the house, large and spacious with amazing pool. Malin responded quickly to any questions and check-in was very smooth. Recommended!

Our stay at Hans and Lena's place was very pleasant. The house exactly matches the photographs and description, it is very welcoming and equipped with every comfort. It is easy to get around by public transport: a few minutes' walk from the house there is in fact the bus stop that takes 30/40 minutes to Stockholm. The surroundings of the house are quiet and the view of the canal is very evocative. Unfortunately, due to schedules, we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Hans and Lena in person, but we met the son, very helpful. In any case, hosts were always available via phone and provided us with all the necessary information.

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! Absolutely great place! Exactly as described with great atmosphere and beautifully decorated. Perfect stay for 6 people (4 adults + 2 teenagers) with great connection to Lidingö tram connection to the city, Gashågga brygga for boats to the archipelago. Would recommend anyone for combination of city trip and some relaxed island vibe

The location in Södermalm was perfect—close to great restaurants, cafes, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Karolina was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm! Makes your stay worth it!!

We liked Adrian's apartment in Älvsjö very much. Although not directly located in the city, it was very easily accessible by public transportation. The apartment is modern, new and very clean and equipped with high-quality electronic devices. There was oil, salt and pepper as well as coffee and tea. The bedroom is at the back and it was very quiet to sleep, great! Adrian's communication was great - we were always helped quickly and all instructions sent in advance were very helpful. We'll be happy to come back when we return to Stockholm!

We stayed at Christian and Jaquemine's place for 30 days, and it was our first Airbnb experience. The flat is in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood. The nearby areas are perfect for hiking, with beautiful lakes, islets, beaches, and green forests with deer and other wildlife. Although the location seems far from the city on the map, frequent buses to Slussen take just 30 minutes, making it easy to reach the city centre whenever we wanted. I worked remotely during our stay, and the internet connection and workspace were excellent. The flat has everything one might need, and we never had issues wanting specific items, making it ideal for longer stays. I slept in both sleeping areas, and both were comfortable and spacious. The hosts were welcoming and kind. When my flight was postponed, they kindly offered to store my luggage even after check-out. They provided many thoughtful offers, showing how helpful and caring they are. I have no complaints and highly recommend it!

I stayed here for several weeks, loved everything about the place. The bus stops right in front of the building, and makes travel to and from the downtown core very convenient and quick. The neighbourhood is incredibly safe no matter what time of day (or night), the apartment is quiet and, though small, has a lovely spacious feel. The view is fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped with modern and highend appliances. I really appreciated the excellent water pressure in the rain shower. The walking path between the street and the water was lovely, even during the winter when I visited. I even found the bed to be extremely comfortable, and that is saying a lot since I sleep on a Tempurpedic at home and have a bad back. Benjamin was a great host. I would definitely return, and think this is a jewel of a place to stay!

I would have given 6 stars if it was available. We had been traveling Scandinavia for the last couple of weeks and Oliver and his father’s spot was easily our favorite. He was very accommodating and helpful. We had bad weather a couple of days and he did everything he could to make it up to us. Went above and beyond in every aspect. I even got to catch some Swedish fish in their lake! He set the boat in and had fishing poles. I hope I get to go back some day!

André and Gunilla made us feel completely at home during our stay. Not only was the place perfect, but they went the extra mile in making us feel welcome and looked after. Their place is even better than the pictures suggest, it’s easy to get into the centre of Stockholm and they were the perfect hosts. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Stockholm or the areas nearby. Thank you André and Gunilla for everything!

The apartment is very nice, the view is wonderful. Everything was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

The Sea Cottage was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The jetty for me was the stand out though- just sitting with a drink and watching the sun go down. We really enjoyed our stay in tranquil surroundings. Well worth a visit.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Was a super nice weekend getaway! Definitely recommending the jacuzzi and barbecuing with a view!! Bathroom felt a bit cramped for 6 people. Alright for a short period of time though. Would book it again 10/10 wow

We spent two wonderful weeks in this fantastic house. Everything was perfect – the house is very well maintained, well equipped and offers a magnificent view of the water. The location on the quiet island is idyllic and yet Stockholm can be reached in only about 40 minutes. Linda and her husband were great hosts: warm, helpful and available at all times. We felt completely comfortable. We can highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time in the Archipelago and in this cozy home. We felt like at Home and enyoied the Garden a lot. Total recommend! :-)

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!
