In summer, the scent of mowed meadows blows through the air and as autumn approaches, the fruit trees and the garden directly in front of the apartment bear fruit. Here in the Allgäu you can really be close to nature. Excursion destinations for hiking and cycling are easily accessible from here, but the apartment, garden and nearby forest also invite you to relax in peace.

From this accommodation you can reach all the important places in no time. Within 3 minutes' walk you can reach the supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy and a restaurant with beer garden. In the city of Kempten you can reach it in 5 minutes by car, a bus stop is within sight. The apartment (90 sqm) is on the 1st floor, is very bright and spacious. The terrace overlooks a fauna-flora habitat. Within a few kilometers you will find hiking trails, lakes and ski resorts.

The apartment is located in the heart of little Stiefenhofen and is a great starting point for long hikes in the Nagelfluhkette mountains. A bakery with fresh baked goods is within walking distance. Various farm shops and alpine dairies offering traditional Allgäu cheese are just a few minutes away by car. Free parking is available at the house.

We spent four years, till 2017, lovingly restoring our home and the adjacent apartment, using only the best ecological materials.
