House vacation rentals in Steinberger See

I knew this was going to be a unique experience stayed in a historic home, but I didn't realize how comfortable and relaxing it would be. The home is so quiet and has all the modern conveniences integrated in a subtle way such that it does not ruin the ambience. Carmen and her daughter Melissa were so welcoming and hospitable. They not only helped us find good places to eat and experience nature, but they helped us find our ancestors in the local villages. This is next level hospitality. My only regret is that I didn't stay here longer!

It was a simple uncomplicated stay where everything was just right. Wonderful care, quick answers, always helpful and available. I was particularly impressed by the very tasteful and modern clean apartment and bathroom furnishings. The kitchen was really equipped with everything you need, super clean and clearly arranged. Even a dishwasher was available. The absolutely perfect vacation to unwind. We highly recommend it and would be happy to come back

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

Christian was a great host and we had a great time at the house. Communication went smoothly and the house is really well equipped.

For our large group, this was the perfect place to stay. We especially liked the large kitchen and the living room overlooking the garden.

We were there as a family with two children and a dog, the host was very friendly, everything was clean and the restaurant next door was also delicious. In the area there were many opportunities to walk and a special recommendation is the wild garden near Furth in the forest.

We had a lovely time in the house. Everything is there and very clean.  Hot tub, sauna, table tennis, billiards, darts, etc are ideal for a great stay. They are friendly landlords who respond to the wishes of the guests. To plan the room occupancy, it may be said that 2 rooms are through rooms (you have to go through a bedroom to get to the next bedroom), which was no problem for us. We will be happy to come back!

Florian is an extremely friendly and thoughtful host. The apartment is very spacious for the two of us, the view is fabulous: only nature, the location: very quiet. We really enjoyed our time there.

Very nice cottage in a quiet location. I recovered superbly. Despite the heat, it was always nice and cool in the house and there was also a shady outdoor seating area. Really great for people seeking relaxation. Thank you.

Communication with Walter and Martina was great, there was a lot of information, they were always available and very friendly. We recommend the place: the kitchen is super equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the sleeping gallery for the kids the hit. For very small children you have to be careful, because of the stairs to the sleeping gallery, unsecured sockets and decor/glass cabinets. We did not use the garden/games/TV, so we can't say anything about it. Everything was clean and tidy. We had a great, unfortunately far too short stay.

The house was quaint and in an idyllic location. Walks along the river with the swans swimming by was wonderful and the hike to the castle ruins was quick and easy and allowed for a beautiful view of the city and surrounding area. The cobblestone streets and one lane roads are reminiscent of a time gone by, and just add to the loveliness of the town. The home was as advertised, a home from the 1200's. The sign on the Brunntor just outside the house says 1250. It has been remodeled nicely but is severely in need of a through cleaning. The spider webs were abundant and just covered many of the art pieces. he house was well equipped with all you need to cook meals, and had ample space. The washing machine and dryer were convenient. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the view from the upstairs windows was divine. It is a bit chilly in the house this time of year as it is a bit drafty, so make sure to buy some wood from a local Toom store and use the woodstove.

The three of us felt totally comfortable. The fireplace was burning when we arrived and Barbara welcomed us in a very friendly way. The apartment is tastefully decorated, modern and super well equipped. We were able to have breakfast on the terrace at the beginning of March. Thank you for everything!

We were able to spend a few nice days in the accommodation with a fantastic view. The hosts were always easily accessible and gave us great tips for activities in the region. Thanks again and see you next time.

a large comfortable house with a garden in a quiet part of the village

A very nice house with everything you need. Wonderfully clean and a beautiful design. Nice that there was a roof terrace with a good view. And the area is worth discovering. Suddenly, you come across fantastically nice villages with restaurants and beer breweries.

This was a really nice place to stay. We (two older couples) joked that it was 4 minutes away from everything: 4 minutes from the train station, 4 minutes from great restaurants, 4 minutes from gelato, only 1 minute from the park and a great coffee place. The split level apartment works well: the bedrooms a bathroom on one level; the kitchen, dining room, living room and terrace on the other level. We loved hanging out on the terrace in the evening. The steps were a little steep, and the lights over the stairs turned out after 30 seconds, which was strange, but every Airbnb has some strangeness. We liked the place a lot.
